Strange one, outside of City and Arsenal I think any of the teams between 3rd and 9th could do well. But much like Liverpool and Chelsea had shockers last season, a couple of the teams will fall below bar but anybodies guess who they will be. Think Liverpool will score loads but we'll concede a lot too. Think we're a season away from challenging from the league, probably similar to Man Utd too. Villa are the wildcard in the pack, they've recruited well, but they're also well fancied so the pressure could go two ways.

Going down.. Sheffield Utd and Luton are by far the weakest teams. Forest, Everton and Wolves all look a bit of a shambles as I write this, but they all have far more quality than Luton and Sheffield Utd who I suspect will be banking on their home form big team, much like Forest did last season.

Player of the year: John McGinn

Boldest shout I've ever seen.

If Wolves sack their manager before the weekend would that not count towards the guessed for first managerial sacking given it was before the new season started?

Yeah that wouldn't count, it's gotta be from day 1 in my book.

It's hard to imagine anyone but Manchester City winning the league this season but I would personally rather see anyone but them winning it which would be an unprecedented 4th in a row in English top division football. I don't think there will be much change to last season's top 4 but can see Newcastle dropping out of it this time, think the days of Liverpool being the closest challengers for the title are gone now.

Chelsea should be much improved compared to last season but not expecting them to do anything crazy in the league. Tottenham will underwhelm once again especially without Harry Kane in their team. I think Burnley will have a good season with Vincent Kompany as the manager and will easily be the highest of the newly promoted teams.

The relegation places were really hard to predict this time, there's about 5 or 6 teams that could easily get relegated and are all interchangeable but I've gone with Nottingham Forest, Luton & Sheffield United. It's gonna be another season of struggle for Everton and I think Sean Dyche is likely to be the first manager to get sacked.

Congratulations to Wardy for being the only one to predict that Heckingbottom would be the first managerial sacking.

Surprised there were so many for Moyes! He's a legend to the hammers fans I know

3/20 for the league positions and one point short for the champions points total.

Happy with most of my predictions, only real ones I got wrong were United top 4 (not even close) and Wolves being relegated (not even close).
