You would have thought her debut single would have had that treatment, instead radio interviews and dipping.

Honestly this, I feel people need to see her perform as a solo artist rather than a few radio interviews.

 

And whilst a 2nd Top 30 single is great surely the record label are going to be scratching their heads with what to do next, they are not going to keep pumping out loss making CDs and big budget videos for that kind of return.

I'm sure she's saving these promo slots for the book promotion. At the end of the day, they are not gonna have her twice on the same show.

Sadly, I highly doubt she will release more music…

 

I don’t get at all the record companies nowadays. I mean, all the girls had been recording solo music for so long, so the record is paying the sessions, producers, etc. but if they don’t get good results immediately the game is over (Normani). Aren’t the record companies losing more money acting like this? At least release the album in some formats so the artist can do a mini tour and they can have some money back of albums, merchandising etc. From a record company point of view makes more sense to me make the girls release solo music earlier and in case that they underperform, stop of losing money with the record sessions, travels, etc. Guess is really hard or sad for the girls to had been working in their projects for so long and maybe they won’t be able to release it.

Where is the damn promo??? Her team/label absolutely suck f***ing balls. Where are the primetime TV performances? Where are the chat show interviews? Why is it just radio interviews in a day and age where no one gives a crap about radio?

She’s an absolute star! She deserves longevity rather than flash in the pan hits.

I low key feel like her team gave up once they saw it was going to be a flop tbh :(

Why do they keep dropping 30 seconds of behind the scenes at a time, so pointless... just drop the full thing.

Sadly I also think this is just a reflection of the music industry nowadays in the streaming era.

 

Gone are the days when a CD single or an iTunes download would be available on a Sunday morning and the artist would be doing TV every day, signings, interviews and begging fans to buy it.

 

Nowadays it’s just dropping a single on Spotify, popping in to Capital FM for 10 minutes and that’s it.

She’s going to the US again soon.

Chart run so far 28-69

Big drop for week 2 but thankfully it stayed top 75.

Once it underperforms everyone will be saying it wasn't so good and DSL was better, especially if it say goes 23-68-out.
