A third single / post album single is hardly gonna do any better for Kylie.

Just saying that the focus track on album release week must be something else as Tension is not going to grow from here.

I imagine they’ll have Hold On To Now as the focus track on the New Music Friday playlists.

Yeah, Tension is on life support at this point, even its performance on Apple Music has been disappointing, considering it’s quite high on their biggest playlist.

Well i have been told that the remixes are excellent so who knows whats going to happen?!??!

Just demonstrates how hard it is to find truly big streaming numbers to dent the charts….unless you’re a hot, younger act. No matter how good the song.

 

At least Tension has had some support on streaming and its UK radio Airplay is great. A good outcome will be solid Spotify streaming numbers long term and let’s hope the Apple support doesn’t drop off soon. Shame we can’t see its worldwide Apple numbers. Maybe we’ll be provided with an charts update on her biggest UK streaming hits sometime soon.

Lets not forget Padam Padam is still hogging (rightly so) the big playlists. I did think they wouldn't put 2 songs on big playlists from Kylie. But lets see what happens in the coming weeks. Personally i love the song.

 

Maybe on album release week we will get a 99p EP of edits midweek from the Kylie store a la Dancing to give it a boost again.

It doesn’t matter with Tension what happens - it’s created some buzz for the album and went Top 20, not bothered if they move onto the buzz single now for the album as remixes won’t revive it too much much and the 59p reduction hasn’t done much for it.
