I know it was for charity but that Everybody Hurts cover for Haiti back in 2010 was super dull and a chore to listen to. Cheryl’s ‘3 Words’ is another bore fest too.

Same. Although, I think 'Parachute' was her best song.

I never understood why she was so successful. She's beautiful but has no personality and her vocals don't stand out.

 

Very true. I did like Promise This and The Flood at the time (though never enough to buy them) and Call My Name but mainly because of Calvin Harris.

I honestly think Cheryl's whole solo career was all about cutting corners and everything was done on the cheap, which I don't get as for a time she was one of the biggest and most in-demand names.
