He came third in the first of only two Fame Academy's and Lemar outperformed chart success wise very quickly over David Sneddon and Sinead Quinn who beat him. 'Dance (With U)' was released in August 2003 and peaked at number 2 behind...... with 'Breathe' which had been #1 on it's 4th week. Interestingly this WASN'T Lemar's debut single as 'Got Me Saying Ooh' was supposed to be released in October 2001 and was totally different from Lemar's general material that he'd put out as it was more in a garage/dance orientated vein. Needless to say because of label issues it's no wonder he tried to get his career properly off the ground by going on the aforementioned Fame Academy!

Enrique/Kelis for me too. Although I do kinda feel like I could happily not hear You’ve Got The Love ever again at this point in my life… any version so that’s definitely in my sights.
