'Rave Out' sounds like a BANGER! :music:

Fair play to Zara managing to get another top 40 hit, I really thought 'Can't Tame Her' was just going to be a blip and she'd be back to making no noise after that (which I mean she did with the follow-up single, but bouncing back again with this one).

Actually sounding pretty good - looking back at Guetta's recent chart discography he's truly gone to shit, I thought 'One In A Million' was decent too but before that there are so many songs in a row that I just do not like at all, many of which I actively hate. 'Stay (Don't Go Away)' was his last chart entry that I liked more than 'On My Love' I think!

'Rave Out' is nothing special but a solid enough bit of generic dnb, I prefer it to 'Dancing Is Healing'.

Biography

Country music is like a box, Kenny Rogers once said. The trick is to move outside the dull center of the box, but stay within its confines. Luke Combs mastered that move from the start, mixing versatile songwriting with hard-rock dynamics but always staying true to country’s established values. New artists usually get a cold reception at country radio, but Combs (born in 1990 and raised in North Carolina) barged right through any obstacles. His first single, “Hurricane,” went to No. 1. His second single, “When It Rains It Pours,” went to No. 1. By 2019, Combs was the first country artist in history whose first seven singles went to No. 1, and he was soon headlining arenas. It seemed like overnight success, but it wasn’t: Combs molded his signature sound—a bold, yearning tenor, Southern rock guitars, hip-hop-imbued beats—and released three independent EPs before a major label signed him. It didn’t hurt that Combs has an Everyman appeal—he looks, he’s said, not like a star, but like a typical country fan. In a sea of styled and coiffed Nashville stars, Combs' unkempt manner is a statement of rural masculinity. But while that’s reflected in his thick, raucous sound, he’s a diverse songwriter—one who can toggle from rowdy and loose to sweet and devoted, funny one minute and sentimental the next. In the ’90s, Garth Brooks gave country music the scope of arena rock, and Combs has effortlessly taken up that mantle a few decades later. - Apple Music

The new Zara x Guetta song still sounds like a canceled 2013 Listen track.
Rave Out isn’t anything special really, good to see DnB continuing it’s renaissance I guess but there’s been better tracks in the genre.

Biography

A plaintive, quivering country troubadour indebted to the literary side of Red Dirt country -- he wrote a song saluting Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours, one of the genre's leading lights of the 2010s -- Zach Bryan began carving out a career for himself while he was still enlisted in the Navy. He recorded his 2019 debut DeAnn during a break in his service and it, along with videos he posted online, helped him cultivate an audience that crested with the 2020 release of Elisabeth and its accompanying single "Heading South." Bryan capitalized on this burgeoning popularity with American Heartbreak, a sprawling 2022 triple album that marked his major-label debut and mainstream breakthrough: it debuted at number one on Billboard's Country Albums chart.

A native of Oklahoma, spending time in both Oologah and Tulsa, Zach Bryan received his first guitar at the age of 14. Soon he learned how to play, then started to write songs. When he came of age, Bryan enlisted in the Navy, just like his parents before him and his father's father before that. During his spare time in the service, he wrote songs. While on leave, he spent some time relaxing at an Airbnb in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his friends spontaneously decided to record the songs that became his 2019 debut DeAnn; he named the album after his late mother.

DeAnn earned positive buzz among Red Dirt aficionados, so Bryan decided to record a second album in the same fashion. Featuring the single "Heading South," the resulting Elisabeth appeared in 2020. The following year saw Bryan release live versions of "Hell or Highwater" and "Condemned," and make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. "From Austin" appeared in early 2022 as the lead single to his third record, American Heartbreak, a triple album issued through Warner Records in May 2022. The release found an audience, debuting at number one on the Billboard Country chart and five on its Top 200. Bryan supported the album with an extensive tour, the final show of which was captured on the LP All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks). - Spotify

Kacey Musgraves in the UK top 40 *.*

I Remember Everything is a really lovely track, so glad it's in the top 40, hope it keeps climbing.

I could see this Zach Bryan song being a fairly big sleeper hit eventually, it’s the best of the random crop of country crossovers of the year so far.
current fav song <3 Hope this can continue to climb
I hope DNA is a new entry and Busted got the number 1 album. :P
I hope DNA is a new entry and Olivia gets a second week :D

This isn't for me.
Jack is such a bad bad presenter, not a word about the song, not a mention of who's featured who sings 50% of the song
