BIGGEST HIT: THE NEW POLLUTION (#14, 1997)

I forgot I gave Darren Hayes as many as 25 points :o 'Insatiable' and 'Strange Relationship' are two of my absolute faves and the whole Spin album is actually brilliant. The next three albums, while not quite being up there with Spin, also had some outstanding moments on them. Loved the two Savage Garden albums too.

Jake Bugg has been pretty consistent with his albums, they're not amazing but they're a decent listen. I think his latest album is my favourite.

Beck is pretty good although nothing he's ever done has come close to 'Loser' which remains an absolute tune

Darren Hayes didn't cross my mind but I doubt I'd have voted for him as a solo act although he does have some good songs. Savage Garden might be considered for groups one though.
My faves from Jake Bugg are all from his eponymous album: 'Lightning Bolt', 'Simple As This' and 'Country Song'
Marvin Gaye is a legend (even if his estate is trying its best to ruin the music industry with its over litigiousness xx) and am generally a fan of what I've heard from Peter Gabriel and Beck but none of these in the last couple of days would have made my list.

Oh my how did I not consider Jake! A definite top 10 entrant :drama:

Nice to see Beck make the top 100 - a solid collection of singles amassed over the years

I'm actually surprised Jake Bugg picked up as many votes as that, he's not exactly a Buzzjack friendly type artist and you don't really hear him mentioned much on these pages!
Beck is pretty good although nothing he's ever done has come close to 'Loser' which remains an absolute tune

'Loser' is great- just realised it made top 10 in USA which is slightly surprising as they don't often chart alternative music so high. But love the 'Odelay' singles especially 'Where's it At' and 'New Pollution'. Perfect album all the way through.

Beck doesn't really have 40 UK hits does he?? I counted 10. #86 is a great result for him though!

BIGGEST HIT: CANNONBALL (#9, 2011)

Wow I forgot about Damien Rice - definitely would have been in my top 10. His 'O' album was just amazing - especially the first track 'Delicate' which just hits you with emotion.
Have never really been able to get into Damien Rice, 'Cannonball' aside. Same with Ben Howard, save for 'Only Love'.
