Is John Lennon the first act to have attracted 10 different votes?

Indeed so

I just happened to watch John Lennons documentary re his murder on Apple TV earlier on today. I’d gotten into his music earlier on in the year as I noticed The Weeknd had referenced him a few times with the Idol soundtrack. I’m excited to delve more into it as what I did hear I did really enjoy. Taken far too soon from us.

Wow, Aphex Twin attracting an all-or-nothing response here! What a genius, I sent 'Ageispolis' as my 50th anniversary entry to the BuzzJack Song Contest, later sampled by Die Antwoord  the accompanying Selected Ambient Works 85-92 is essential. He's still got it now, 'in a room7 F760' was quite a big hit in my chart this year, can't believe that EP went top 100.

I need to check out more Leonard Cohen as 'Suzanne' was a beautiful discovery the other week

Leonard's original of 'Hallelujah' deservedly brought him into the Top 40 although Jeff Buckley's version is the definitive life-and-death affirming statement, but 'Everybody Knows' and 'First We Take Manhattan' are at least as great moments from the 80s for him, and the aforementioned 'Suzanne' is one of my all time favourite songs

I love Leonard Cohen's electronic 'I'm Your Man' album from 1988 and 'Everybody Knows' is one of the best ever songs never to make the top 40.

I really need to listen to more Aphex Twin music. He has such a great reputation.

BIGGEST HIT: CROSSFIRE (#8, 2010)

Not really much stuff I know from MIKA, but I quite enjoy "Love Today" and Kick Ass (We Are Young) [#84, 2010]" for their appearances as drink commercials.

All of those are great. Despite not voting Brandon especially, he has some great solo tracks. The first two songs he released in 2015 were very good in fact!

Nice showing for Mika though even if I gave him only 1 point. 'Grace Kelly' and 'Happy Ending' are both excellent tracks and I like 'Relax..' and his forgotten Kick Ass film track 'Kick Ass' :P 'Rain' is a underrated track as well!

I completely forgot to vote for Tom Grennan. Great to see him almost top 50.

Three great acts in a row there.

Tom Grennan's debut era is still his best, it's a shame he's watered down his sound a bit recently.

I guess Mika won't top his first era either but his 'My Name Is Michael Holbrook' album came pretty close for me.

Brandon is pretty iconic but his solo albums didn't quite match up to classic Killers so I couldn't give him any votes as a solo artist.
