Is it really any more questionable than Bryan Adams being around the same position :teresa:

Yeah I’m no fan of Bryan Adams either tbh… Summer of 69 is okay but struggling beyond that

Aside from Kanye losing the plot, he hasn't released a decent song for years.

I don't mind Usher but I do prefer his more poppy stuff (DJ, Scream etc.) to his slicker R&B stuff.

BIGGEST HIT: STREETS OF PHILADELPHIA (#2, 1994)

Will Young has some gems in his discography and I'm looking forward to his new era this year.

Bruce Springsteen is obviously a legend but I prefer his 90s stuff ('Streets Of Philadelphia', 'Human Touch') over his more classic stuff.

Will Young is one of the few reality tv stars that actually has enough decent singles to make a best of without filler

(Although Girls Aloud and Little Mix do also)

Wondered when Bruce was going to appear, brilliant that he's top 20 and nice to see another 30 points going his way too. He's been my favourite artist since 2008 when I heard his Greatest Hits in full plus his Nebraska album which is his most lo-fi and really showcases his storytelling, and I've since got all of his studio albums from the 70s and 80s plus a few others and seen him live three times. My top songs from him are some of my favourites of all time  'Thunder Road', 'The River', 'Born To Run'
Bruce is a legend end of some absolute classics in the discography, he also a good democrat as well!
Nice placement for Bruce, not heard any of his albums in full but I do like almost everything I've heard from him to some extent, 'The River' being my fave  Will Young definitely has one of the better discographies for a talent show act indeed, my faves from him being 'Jealousy' and 'Leave Right Now'.

BIGGEST HIT: YOU CAN’T HURRY LOVE (#1, 1982) EASY LOVER (#1, 1985) A GROOVY KIND OF LOVE (#1, 1988)

Great batch there. Didn't vote for Bruce but he has some great tracks. Phil and Will have a ton of fab tracks for me and are icons of their respective times and Freddie is a legend obviously. Thought admittedly I did vote him for him based on Queen rather than solo which tbf I don't know a lot of!
You cant think of Freddie and not think of the Queen tracks !!

I really really love Phil Collins from his Tarzan album: You'll Be In My Heart, Two Worlds, Strangers Like Me . He's surely a part of my childhood! I often watched the original Tarzan film when I was young in Disney Channel Asia (Its sequel was kinda forgettable though oop).

True Colors (which was a discovery from the Trolls cover by Anna Kendrick and JT) and Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now) are also two of his best tracks. I don't think I remember his remaining top 3s though.

Freddie Mercury is another good shout, but I wasn't really familiar with his solo projects.

Edited by Cow P

Wow we really put Freddie Mercury as high as 6th here last time?! This feels way too high for us to still be getting artists who are clearly much better known and regarded for their work in a group than as a solo artist oops! (Although sure there are a couple of good Freddie solo hits)

And dandy*'s fave at #15 *.*

Shocked to see Phil Collins as high as #15, especially given that he was #27 last time! I do like a lot of his and Freddie's work but not enough for them to garner any votes from me. 'I Wish It Would Rain Down' is probably my favourite Phil Collins song, that's criminally under-rated.
I absolutely adore the Tarzan soundtrack too! That's how I first discovered Phil Collins, my non-Tarzan faves are 'Easy Lover' and 'Can't Stop Loving You'
