I think it’s because the song itself didn’t fit the expectations of its name. Like I think it’s a great song, but when she announced the name I was not expecting this ykwim? I think people had different expectations (loads of people expected it to be like better than revenge or lwymmd) not a slow sweet love song and so that’s why it’s not doing as well. Pretty sure she was in the top 50 last year, probably won’t be this year due to Taylor but I’d estimate around #65

Looks like 'Style (Taylor's Version)' won't chart at all, let alone make the Top 20, and 'Slut!' could be a one week chart hit with its most likely replacement next week either 'Say Don't Go' or 'Cruel Summer'.

People (god knows why) start listening on 1st November so Mariah will pop up with that days streams.

 

Assuming the next two weeks go Taylor > Prada, the latter would then be off to ACR unless it manages an increase. Given the Christmas onslaught doesn't usually do chart topping numbers til December (when adjusted for ACR) that does leave us a gap for another chart topper in between.
