As a Style stan since the day the original 1989 came out (it is in my top 3 Taylor songs of all time), I hate to agree with the Twitter stans but I think it is probably the worst re-recorded song she's ever done from the 4 albums she's re-released so far -_- :P the layering of the vocals in the chorus is just all wrong, it sounds like a low quality karaoke version you'd find of a song on YouTube

 

Either way though, I hope it manages to chart well this week - it was criminally overlooked here the first time round! It didn't even get a top 20 peak :o
