Half the reason the top versions are falling is because all the songs are charting twice due to the regular/deluxe versions and haven’t been combined yet (Style and Is It Over Now both have two versions in the top 100, and 11 tracks have two versions in the top 200)

I think they must have thought it was in with a reasonable shot of #1, it was only about 2.5k away in the end.

 

Shame if she had done it she could of been looking at replacing herself :lol:

Kenya Grace released an acoustic sad version of "Strangers" yesterday. She said it’s 1bpm slower than the original. That might help her to close the gap on Taylor.

That’s quite the drop for the Taylor tracks on day 2. Didn’t expect strangers to get back to #2 on the 2nd day. Starting to wonder if Taylor will manage to hold on for the #1 single this week after all?

 

That’s also quite the gap for “Is It Over Now?” almost 100k. Will probably be her highest entry if it holds like that all week

Everybody has been listening to 1989 tracks for 9 years, they are not gonna do miraculous numbers even as new versions now.

Granted Speak Now had lower numbers, but only one of its 8 top 10 debuts managed to stay in the top 10 on its second day - I don’t have all the percentage drops etc but just from eyeing it I feel like 1989 held a bit better
