Hands I played Drum a few times when it leaked, but only once since it officially became a bonus track - so I’m not sure how I’d slot it into the rank. I really like it though. I’ve only heard Heavenly Body once and I can’t remember it. I’m afraid that these days, if songs are not on streaming then they don’t tend to get much of my attention because I don’t open iTunes very often! A few comments: Things We Do For Love & You Still Get Me High - (They feel like sister songs to me, in that same 80s lane, so I find it hard to separate them. I think I slightly prefer Things We Do For Love but I wasn’t confident about it!) 10 Out of 10 - (I can probably see this falling down my rank the more time I spend with the album. I played it a lot when it was a single so it still has that familiarity. Maybe with time that’ll fade. That being said I really do like it and I’ve never understood the hate it gets from some.) Green Light - (It’s underrated! So smooth… and that sax outro! *.*) One More Time - (I like it, but something holds me back from really liking it. I can’t even put my finger on why that is because there’s really nothing wrong with it per se. Closer to the album’s release it would have been higher up than Just Imagine & Somebody to Love, but those have grown on me a lot, while One More Time has kind of remained in the same place of not growing or fading.) Vegas High - (Sorry but this is the overrated one on the album, for me - it’s very “Kylie on autopilot” and the Vegas theme feels very shoehorned in. “We’re doing Vegas, so let’s do a song referring to Vegas”, quite literally what Kylie herself said the thought process behind this song’s creation is… it’s just a bit… eh. It’s not relatable to me. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate it at all, it just doesn’t move me like it clearly does for other fans. Maybe someday it’ll click better.) Hands - (Release this as a single at your peril, Min x)
October 24, 20231 yr For me 'Vegas High' is an explosion of pure, unadulterated joy and really captures her spirit :wub: However, I think it has faded slightly in my affections since last month. Hands 16. 10 Out Of 10 - Padam is a masterpiece and for me the best pop single this year, and the reason 10 Out Of 10 is at the bottom is because I don't like it as a part of the album I prefer it as an added side-single kind of thing?
