Hoping Tension sells well at the weekend with Saturday and Sunday shoppers and hopefully the downloads stay reduced

Extension charting separately is absolutely not needed. Must have added minimal sales.

Though Tension climbing so much is great to see.

i think they may still get combined for Friday but maybe not.....

I think they screwed up by giving it essentially a different name rather than calling it ‘Tension (Extended Mixes)’ so the OCC are counting it as a new title.

Do you think Tension will get re released with extension remixes as a bonus cd or will extension get a cd release?
I'd just like the cd version of extension but it's likely the next phase of tension will most likely be a live cd which I always like to get.

i think if BMG knew they would chart seperately then they wouldnt have chosen this week to release Extension. They could have concentrated on Tension solely with the ITV promo.

They really have messed up. Tension (Extension) would probably have been fine....... They would have wanted the album visible top 10 this week for Xmas run in, but now its going to struggle to get top 20

the only saving grace is that ypu can tell on itunes that the song/album is moving around as and when people are catching up on ITVX and the re-run on Boxing Day will also be very good promo for that week

Yes at least we can see the promo impact on the actual Tension album.

10 out of 10 is still unavailable in Extension's Spotify album. I mean I bought the album off iTunes anyway and it's not many streams to be omitted from, but still!

#75 is what the album deserves for these half baked extended versions, awful artwork and a cheap cash in.

Glad the superior Tension is safely top 40.

I don’t think it was their intention to get a #75 album though, they just threw it out to boost the regular Tension (which is getting the extended streams contributing to its sales rather than to Extension).

Is it an OCC or BMG thing? Like, would they have to register them as being combined?

I don't see how it's different from the Disco extended version, aside from perhaps having a different title?
