Congrats Dandy  unfortunately not a song I'm crazy about (it grew on me a bit throughout the contest but at the end of the day I still feel like it just sounds like a derivative version of a sound that's been done much better before in BJSC, I ranked it 31st) but not bad by any means, would still take it over a good handful of last year's winners!

Will double check the scoreboard before commenting on the rest as per but it does appear that 3 of my top 5 finished in the overall top 5 in the end so can't complain too much *.*

Can't fully pay attention but checked out the early votes and oh wow an 18 from Greenfroze - that feels very rare indeed so thank you!

Yes, that is rare indeed, so wohooo, my 18 won! Congratulations! Wonderful entry! :cheer:

Thanks Hare for an exhilarating results show! Love the kerfuffle in the middle where anyone in the top 15 can be a winner realistically. Congrats Dandy on the win! Delighted to see two of my favourite discoveries Danæviia and Quintessa doing pretty well but Terra Avium was quite robbed! Neliönoir and Hendinia both did really well which is great to see, and commiserations to Cor Lupus for missing the top 10. Sandénia and Pestolia got robbed terribly. The taste is missing I fear!

Next edition prepare for a Celtic banger to end the year!

Wow, well very well done Fljótavík, it was a really good track and clearly had the momentum behind it going into this so it's not a surprising winner! Impressive 2nd place for Dan, it wasn't in my votes but I appreciated how standout it was a choice. Likewise Quintessa, for me that was the most inspired song this month - almost no streams on Spotify, the language, the kind of sonic switch up it has in the middle - to get such a song into the top three is a huge achievement!

The top six isn't a big surprise but the rest of the top ten is for me, some interesting songs in there! Shame about the FARC deduction but it did gift a classic 90s track a top ten place.

Nice to see Lookylion almost make the top 20, a great track!

Not 31st and dropping out of the top 30 at the last second :drama: Quite pleased to not be bottom ten, however, as I felt getting to the final was an achievement with quite a dark song really (but one I very much adore). Cadelicia is really the only one in the bottom ten I'm very surprised by, it doesn't sound like an entry that would be that low.

Fab hosting Harve, thank you, what a wild ride!

Thanks for the patience guys.

I really should not have opted to do scoreboards on the fly after I misattributed two votes (and apparently I've given Danaeviia an extra point somewhere), and instead just used the ones I prepared earlier that were 30 points wrong. I cannot guarantee that it would have gone smoothly otherwise but it definitely added to the chaos!

Semis and final tables here.

Omg my first top 10 in a couple years and my first time getting 9th place - thank you so much to everybody who supported Adonia this time around! Our entry this time around was out of left field (and I think our oldest by like 30 years lol) so I had no idea what to expect. Thank you Pestolia for the last minute 18 that gave it the final push too ^_^ edit: Just saw the spreadsheet and I completely glossed over Jupiter's 18, thank you so much as well!

This was a really engaging results show if a bit chaotic (tbf I enjoy that anyway); thanks Harve for putting in the work and sequencing the votes in the most dramatic way possible

Edited by Math!

Btw I was very excited about a song that finished 9th in the semi almost winning, even if I didn't vote for it!

Congratulations, D*.

These results were also incredibly entertaining - well done Harve for keeping it just above absolute mayhem.

The way if I was in SF1 I could've saved Aesthetica and Lotunia :o

I'm struggling to process Danæviia finishing below Cadelicia in SF1 but the former finishes 2nd and the latter finishes 35th.

Pls do not say this is a mistake because I'm not prepared to re-host tonight for another decade x

congrats Fljótavík ! great song to win with there and I do suppose it was about time we had a melodic techno track make its way right to the top of the leaderboard.

anyhow, many thanks everyone who pointed Danæviia and Blackshape this evening

second place is quite ideal too as I don’t think I could have committed to hosting 160 with my forthcoming holiday booked. now to hope we get lucky enough to AQ as last time we came second we didn’t and then DNQed.

Congratulations Dandy a fine winner! What a brilliant contest this has been with the calibre of entries and the hosting. Big thanks to all the Quintessa voters, especially the five 18s (Sandenia, Persephonia, Kluminican Republic, Botannika & Bronzil ). Loving i have got my third bronze and second silver this year, ss I’ve also got one gold it’s very poetic)

Well I am amazed at that, I thought people were hyping it suddenly because Lewww had charted it

Thanks to everyone that voted for Aria. I thought it may do okay when I first heard but then I honestly thought it didn’t stand out at all in the semi so had such low expectations before the final few odds came in. Definitely one of the strongest contests I can recall and I’m delighted to see Brimheim and Minnie Riperton make top 5 and top 10 respectively. Dobago just about held top 20 which is kinda okay but Cadelicia were robbed!

Also, yay for another AQ in the same year *.*

yay FLJ! Congrats dandy! Also love seeing Aeroche in the top 5!

I just KNEW from the second I was being hyped that it was gonna lead to nowhere and I got hate for it but GUESS WHAT? That “winner contender” I had missed the top 10 so another one to add to the library of overhyped/overpredicted songs 🤷‍♂️ THE 👏 BOOKIES 👏 NEVER 👏 LEARN  a hit is a hit and I still feel vindicated in sending it even though I had a feeling it would clash with PFSC so thanks for the votes!

Harve… thank you for the memes and the hosting. Fuck it, we ball.

Really great hosting Harve, it's been a really fun contest to follow throughout and especially tonight my god, so good

Congratulations Dandy, very good and powerfuk winner, definitely felt that was coming in the end, and an excellent runner up just behind it, really incredible to see a post-rock song in second.

Got what felt like loads of votes tonight so thank you all for supporting it, getting into the top 20 is an excellent success always and it is good to see that the predictions matched, really wasn't expecting them to.

Congrats to Fljotavik! A great, epic dance track which did sound like something that would do really well. Danaeviia coming as high as 2nd is wonderful, great to see post rock has a real audience now, only so much longer until the first winner surely x That's a pretty great top 10 with a few of my commiserations and excellent to see POPHub and Botanikka up there too.

I think my 11 from Botanikka went to Spod by mistake again  assuming that I'm around 15th, I'm very happy with that, it's about on par with the predictions and great to see so many votes for a dark, neo-classical track. Cannot recommend Rico Label and films and their other projects enough if you really like these <3

Some serious injustices in that lower half of the scoreboard though, poor Bronzil, Cadelicia and Beaverdonia </3

Thanks for hosting Harve, this was very fun to follow, sorry for being a pain!

Thanks for hosting Harve, this was very fun to follow, sorry for being a pain!

Well it saves 1 of the (possibly) 4 incoming instances of me being a pain! x

(the other 3 are all only 1 or 2 point differences so they don't change much)
