March 16, 20241 yr Author I find it insane how even Paul, Kerry, Dylan didn’t get as much of a grilling as Ekin-Su like… I’m sorry she just lied a bit and was a bit fake, like I said, it’s really not as deep as people are making out tbh. She’s clearly very defensive, coming off as cold, but I still am quite baffled by the reception from Will and AJ. Couldn’t agree more, Ekin didn’t deserve this. Especially when all those people you mentioned got it SO lightly.

The ONLY thing I think was a stretch was that tweet that put her with Roxanne , Jade Goody etc that was a bit much but apart from that I think she honestly brings it on herself with how she answers certain questions and some of the things she says !

March 16, 20241 yr Unfortunately I found Ekin-Su to be increasingly unbearable as the series progressed, so I can’t say I’m at all surprised by the negative reactions towards her (as long as the reactions are within reason - I obviously don’t wish her to have a hard time as a result of this experience. At worst she was a difficult personality). I found Fern’s nomination reasoning to be very astute. It was a precise reading of how Ekin has come across on the show and I’m kind of surprised that people could dispute it based on what we’ve seen… without applying “but she was great on Love Island!” to it. I kind of think that she got in her own way, by being so intensely self conscious of how she would be perceived, that this actually made her come across badly. In particular her attitude towards those who utilise OnlyFans, and giving off the whole “I’m not like the other girls” vibe - it’s far from endearing. Late & Live was a bit of a car crash. Ekin-Su blaming the edit was such a weak thing to do though, laughably cringe. AJ was right to essentially be like “now hang on a minute, you haven’t even seen what’s been shown, and what was shown was you!” :lol:

I didn’t watch all of L&L but saw the first part and from the second she walked on her mum had a face like a slapped arse. Good riddance. Layton called her out for what the majority have seen, but let's rush to try and make them look like the villain because Ekin-Su is queen of the world <3... there's a massive difference between being sent hate online week in, week out for simply dancing on a reality TV show, and being the way Ekin-Su was in the house (and no different on the outside world it seems either).
March 16, 20241 yr I've seen Ekin-Su on two Reality TV Shows now and I have to say, I'm not impressed. Her entire aura just breathes toxicity. She hasn't carried herself well at all. I'm assuming Love Island she was a bit more put together? She's been absolutely vile, there isn't any other way to put it really :lol: She's just going to make herself the revolving Reality TV Contestant joke, isn't she? March 16, 20241 yr Yeah so Love Island she was more girl’s girl, she was like someone you’d want to be besties with, always standing up for them against the toxic men, she was a lot more relatable and real. The Ekin-Su of Love Island would despise this iteration of herself :lol: I think the world of celebrity has changed her a lot, honestly, for the worse, she’s not been prepared for it all and I don’t know whether the breakup was a tipping point too. I know I keep saying it but she really shouldn’t have thrown herself into something like Big Brother at this point. I’ve got friends who will do the same and have a breakup, not process it and just busy themselves or not take time for themselves. I mean maybe it was… a different fake act on Love Island, but the vibe I’m getting is everything she’s been through has changed her for the worse and she hasn’t worked through any of it. Instead of a relatable girl’s girl, we ended up seeing a week and a half of someone cold, defensive, sometimes misogynistic, calculated and a massive pick me. I’d be lying if I didn’t find the delusional parts kind of entertaining, but when I think of what we could have had and what we got, it is a shame. Out of the Love Islands I saw (actually didn’t bother with any after her season), she was my top pick to go on the show along with Maura and Indiyah, and I’d say in terms of a fan fave she was probably the one everyone would have wanted to go on.
March 16, 20241 yr I'm a huge Ekin-Su fan. She's a Love Island icon and almost single handedly revived interest in that show. I was disappointed with some of the comments she made on CBB but the hate has been too extreme and that Late & Live pile on was too much. Even though Ekin never saw it at that point, she was right that her edit hasn't been great. She's come across better in the live streams I've seen. I think her breakup which is really recent must have affected her a lot and she looks like she's in a very vulnerable and insecure place. It felt like she was trying find support and trust in there, people she could confide in, but housemates were either fake to her or never understood her.

March 16, 20241 yr I think Louis should be in the top 4 of the odds to be honest. He's been the main character this series and usually even when seemingly they aren't popular they do tend to make the final. I don't think it's completely impossible that he could end up winning. He definitely would beat Zeze, Marisha, Bradley and David in the public vote I think.
