I’d love the Pogues to do it but a close battle between them and Wham! would also be really exciting in an old school way!

yes go Pogues! The Simon Foundation is one of the bestest charities in the world, good they're behind this <3
Ooh, there's still hope *.* I feel media coverage might skew towards Pogues over the Tik Tok thing, will certainly seem like a demographics battle x
Personally will support wham and pogues I think both can potentially get it i

Every single "creator" has a feature on the Creators Universe song! https://music.apple.com/nz/album/i-wish-it-...oshu/1720216135

The full listing is: I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday - Single (feat. OSHU, Phil Carr, Alex Dodman, Yorkshire Peach, Liam Dixon, John Reynolds, Jess and Norma, Amy-Jo Simpson, Pia Blossom, Clara Batten, Joshua Morris, Rossi D Woods, The Famileigh, Ann Russell, Aman Sanghera, Lee Chapman, Richard Franks, Lawrence Choto, Tommy Moore, Alfie D Sajir, Lucy Edwards, Gavin Wren, Lafay Williams, Rob Colfer, Anttix, The Nursery Nurse, Shaaba, Jammidodger & Rosie McClelland) - Single

"Antixx" supported Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Conor Maynard and The Saturdays many moons ago apparently during an early 2010's failed pop career.

I don’t know who a single one of those is!

one has to wonder what would the media make of it if Pogues are only denied number one due to them being handicapped by ACR though (with them sitting at 2 behind Creator Universe)

no one seemed to note that Wham would’ve been Christmas number one last year ahead of LadBaby but if it’s a close battle with Pogues having significant downloads and physicals it could end up proving controversial

Good luck reading all those features out on the chart show...

They must have some confidence in themselves because even LadBaby posted a pre-order download link a couple of days beforehand, at least.

I think only those who are chronically online on TikTok have heard of them. I’m surprised Brooke and Jessie (who create viral dances) didn’t get a look in.

I assume they'd apply the Kate Bush rule in this scenario.

...Rock Choir go for it every few years and never chart! Why do the official charts keep giving them coverage?

They’ve said they won’t grant SCR status to Xmas songs!

And all it takes is people complaining about an injustice for them to do a 180, as happened with RUTH.
