Wowzers

Doing very well on Spotify too considering the Beyonce album drop, #55 entry yesterday and down only to #65 today, so Fred could have a hit on his hands with this.

That is... not a good Future song to sample lol

I heard this on Radio 1 the other day and it's not great for the above reason. I guess it'd be fine without the sample.

oh love love love this, fav song right now

Turn On The Lights is excellent Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea influenced trance/rave. Way better than Jungle imo, as I nearly always tend to prefer the progressive/trance side of dance.

Also its the first real euphoric dance song SHM have released since their reformation.

Fred's Boiler Room set has been making waves over the weekend. Definitely need to see him live

Just listened to ‘Turn on the lights’ expecting it to be big considering the hype… what a disappointment I have to say. It’s genuinely just future saying the same 4 words over and over with a dancy mix in the background. Really struggling to see the hype for it unfortunately

For me it brings back memories of going to raves and going to see Tiesto in like 2003

and also reminds me of when Swedish House Mafia were good :)

I love the song, my #1 right now ;)

#48 in the chart update yesterday :cheeseblock:

And #48 is where it lands today! Top 40 next week pls

Can we just delete it and give all its streams to 'Jungle' instead? It's pretty good that a song like that has been even a minor hit but I'd love if it could blow up more, easily the best thing I've heard to date from him (although that + 'Lights Out' and 'Admit It (u don't want 2)' made for a killer trio of singles so he's been on fire this year in general, up until this at least lol)

All of this! I can't get past that repetitive Future vocal sample. It's so grating and feels like an afterthought. Lights Out, Admit It and Jungle were all 9 or 10/10s and this is like a 5 oop.

His boiler room was amazing btw! I love how Overmono's Bby was included *.*
