Girls Aloud were filming together on Tuesday! It's speculated that they were filming "talking heads" for an upcoming tour documentary.

Speaking of which, Mercury Studios have posted this on their website: https://mercurystudios.tv/catalogue/program...irls-aloud-show

Girls Aloud: The Girls Aloud Show - Live at The O2

Confetti showers, flying motorbikes, multiple costume changes, pyrotechnics and hit after glorious hit… Girls Aloud perform to crowds of thousands as they take ‘The Show’ on a tour of 30 dates across the UK and Ireland.

Celebrating over 20 years of chart-topping success, they perform a high-octane set that includes Love Machine, Biology, Something Kinda Oooo, I’ll Stand by You and the song that started it all, Sound of the Underground. Shot entirely in 4K, it’s an unforgettable, poptastic journey through their record-breaking career, made all the more poignant by emotional moments that pay tribute to their late bandmate Sarah Harding. In the words of the band themselves, it’s “a celebration of Sarah, our music and our incredible fans” - and one that captivates and honours the enduring legacy of one of pop’s most-loved groups, ever.

"Shot entirely in 4K" :cheeseblock:

How has Walk This Way not happened yet with the Sugababes? I hope that is in the pipe line for something special.

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning ITV added: “We are so excited to be bringing The Girls Aloud Show to ITV audiences later this year - the arena tour was hotly anticipated and an enormous success.

“Working with the band on bringing something extra for the fans has been a joy and we look forward to both the highlights and the full tour coming to ITV1 and ITVX very soon.”

Delighted about this! Looking forward to reliving the tour and seeing them on the TV again.

Not totally related but still relevant to GA on the TV - I was recently reminded that The Girls Aloud Party got as many as 8.37 million viewers back in 2008, after someone posted a throwback of the most watched TV programmes of 2008 in the Digital Spy ratings thread the other day :cheeseblock: their/The X Factor's power at the time!

Looking forward to watching it again. Autumn too that would be very soon then right ?
Yay at being able to watch this for free and not behind a paywall. I suspect a DVD will also happen still?
^ normally it goes to TV then comes out on blue Ray and dvd.

Sunday 17th November at 8pm on ITV!

Airing on Sarah's birthday

1 hour slot, but with adverts and behind the scenes footage included in the hour, it makes me wonder how many songs we'll get during this broadcast. Though there is the "Extended Show" on ITVX (which I hope is the full show!!)

Will the itvx one be available at 8pm the same day? Yeah if it’s an hour slot with ads and interviews it’ll probably 10 songs I think
Looking forward to a very Girls Aloud filled day
How has Walk This Way not happened yet with the Sugababes? I hope that is in the pipe line for something special.

Because it's shit?

Other than Jump and I'll stand by you they tend to ignore the covers (and rightly so, their original material is so much stronger).
