November 24, 20232 yr 'Is It Over Now?' is such an ear worm. It's incredible. Very reminiscent of Taylor's best song 'Out Of The Woods', to me! I play both back to back quite a bit!

It’s a unique balance, one molded by the sounds she heard as a child growing up in Johannesburg. Not only did Tyla (born in 2002) listen to plenty of homegrown music, including Kwaito and Afropop, but she was also exposed to ’90s American R&B greats like Aaliyah and Brandy. As with so many artists coming of age in the 21st century, the motivated teenager utilized social media to showcase her swiftly evolving talent; she then teamed up with South African producer Kooldrink for “Getting Late.” The 2019 single is a mesmerizing realization of Tyla’s love for bridging styles. The killer rhythm track is rooted in amapiano, and the singer’s translucent vocals reveal stunning versatility: hypnotic enough for dance music yet packed with pop’s effortless catchiness and R&B’s undiluted soulfulness. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2023 04 Water -1- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Tyla http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
November 24, 20232 yr This shouldn’t be allowed to stay on SCR. When a song hits ACR, it should stay on ACR for at least one week unless it gets reset the week after Edited November 24, 20232 yr by Hadji
November 24, 20232 yr This shouldn’t be allowed to stay on SCR. When a song hits ACR, it should stay on ACR for at least one week unless it gets reset the week after I swear you come up with a new "should" rule every week!
November 24, 20232 yr Author I wasn't desperate to get 3 more weeks of this in the top 10 as much as I like it, it felt like it was going to ACR at the right time!
November 24, 20232 yr Well I for one still LOVE Water, one of my fave songs this year! Always nice to see a new artist do well, so much negativity for what lmao. Get a grip.
November 24, 20232 yr Author 04 | 05 | 8th week Noah Kahan Stick Season 1st single from Stick Season Released: 8th July 2022 Label: Mercury Records / Republic Records Chart Statistics NE (12/10/2023) | 69-28-18-9-10-8-5-4 Sales: 200k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 38 Sales 06 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video JKrDdsgXuso Biography As Noah Kahan changes, he casts those experiences onto songs like light through a film projector. At the core of the music’s upbeat energy and unfiltered lyrics, you’ll hear who he was before and who he became — almost in real-time. The Vermont singer still pens songs straight from the heart and still cracks jokes with his signature, self-deprecating sense of humor; he’s just changed in all of the right ways (and chronicled them via his songwriting). He gained that understanding through quite the journey from small town Vermont to global renown. He’s racked up over one billion streams, released two full length albums (Busyhead, 2019 and I Was/I Am, 2021) and a mid-pandemic EP (Cape Elizabeth, 2020), picked up a Gold Certification for “Hurt Somebody” feat. Julia Michaels, and performed on television shows such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and TODAY. Not to mention, he’s collaborated with everyone from Joy Oladokun to Chelsea Cutler to mxmtoon to Quinn XCII to Gryffin. After 5 years of critical acclaim and global touring, he sought an even purer style of writing and arrangement, a challenge from within to convey a vivid representation of what he loves, fears, and struggles with most passionately. Now, Noah continues to progress with his highly anticipated new album Stick Season out now. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2023 32 Dial Drunk -3- 2023 83 Call Your Mom -4- 2023 04 Stick Season -1- 2023 95 She Calls Me Back -5- 2023 16 Northern Attitude -2- 2023 92 You're Gonna Go Far -AT- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 3 x Top 40 | 6 x Top 100 Social Media Noah Kahan http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
November 24, 20232 yr Stick Season is lovely, it’s really starting to click with me (still waiting for the Olivia remix hopefully!)
November 24, 20232 yr I swear you come up with a new "should" rule every week! Not every song stays on SCR the week it’s meant to go to ACR. If she released a week early and avoided DCL-3, then fair enough
November 24, 20232 yr Shame about exes missing out, but slay for is it over now and cruel summer both going strong!!
