December 1, 20231 yr I'd be lying to say I didn't feel disappointed, even if it was deserved based off the whole series. I never properly warmed to Ginger outside of recognising her talent and genuinely think she was the worst in every department tonight. Worst verse, worst video performance, worst runway and lost the lip sync soooo, a bit anti climatic for me. Tomara high key dominated and was on her finest form last night, personality absolutely beaming through but I agree that she wasn't quite there enough all series to deserve the win. So, I am disappointed for Michael who really brought out everything he could for that episode and killed every part, but it wasn't to be. I'd say probably my least favourite winner of DRUK, however, I don't think I'm in love with any of this years 3 finalists enough, so I think regardless of who won, they'd probably have that title :lol: LOVED the series as a whole though, felt like a major return to form, everyone got some time to shine or a story line that helped you get to know them, some really great challenges where everyone smashed it. Big fan!
December 1, 20231 yr OBSESSED with Ginger, she's already one of my favourite DRUK queens across all seasons, and by far the best winner. Didn't have a doubt she'd take it, given how Rupaul seems to share my opinion :') Edited December 1, 20231 yr by p a v
December 2, 20231 yr So happy with that result :wub: Admittedly Tomara did do really well this week with the music video, but Ginger and Michael have been the biggest and best characters of the whole season, so I'd have been happy with either but something about Ginger winning just makes the most sense <3
December 2, 20231 yr I utterly loved the result, I've adored Ginger and there was never a week where Ginger did not do well as evidenced by the fact she was never in the bottom two, unlike both Michael and Tomara. Tomara was m favourite of all the queens, she is just crazy and I love it, but she was significantly weaker than the other two, and Michael was excellent but again I felt that he wasn't as consistent as Ginger. I've loved all the winners except for Laurence Chaney, I still cannot believe she beat Bimini like wtf!?!?
