I was going to wait until New Year to post this but I had a bit of time today so I thought why not make it my Christmas pressie to Buzzjack. :) I wasn’t sure which songs to include but in the end I’ve decided to keep it fairly simple and just include the blue and red album track lists plus their 3 Top 10 hits from the 1990s. I thought about adding their 22 most Spotify streamed others to bring it up to 100 but I think we’ve got enough. I’m leaving out the “Movie Medley” and their covers of “Ain’t She Sweet” and “ My Bonnie” which don’t feel like they bring anything much anyway, and the other tracks from the “Magical Mystery Tour EP” which are good but don’t feel especially notable in the canon. I’ll set a deadline of Wednesday 31 January 2024 at 23:59. Oddly, my fave version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is the "Love" Album revamp of an earlier non-Clapton version.

December 31, 20231 yr OK I played the entire Red & Blue albums and the extras, and tried to eliminate nostalgia and rate them according to what I'm listening to - not entirely easy to do that, and mood at any given time will affect how I feel about any given record - that's always been the case - so this is just a snapshot of the remixes really. F'rinstance, some come out of it really well, and some sound worse than the original mono single release (Hi Love Me Do, this really did you no favours at all).
