March 16, 20241 yr Author So we have 3 options on what we can do here. 1) carry on with the gallup years 1988- 1994 in order OR 2) Cover 1980-1982 next then return to 1988 and move forward OR 3) Cover 1988 and 1989 then return to do 1980-1982 then move into the 90s.. Which would people prefer?
March 16, 20241 yr I think go back 80-82, then 88 to 94. Nice and tidy then (plus a good interlude before 1988 starts!)

March 16, 20241 yr Author Thanks Everyone- i'll leave it open for responses until Thursday and then go with the majority- new thread to start next weekend!
March 16, 20241 yr agree 80-82 is the more logical even though I loooove 88 and was so looking forward to it
March 16, 20241 yr I want to start replying to these - I would love it if we did 78 and 79 as they had amazing tracks (78 especially) but guess 80 makes sense. Lots of great tracks from 80-82 to comment on - some very adventurous! Thanks

Lots of great tracks from 80-82 to comment on - some very adventurous! Thanks The 70s aren't available yet but to be honest I'm not overly into the 70s (probably my age) whereas the 80s are filled with nostalgia for me :D
March 21, 20241 yr Looking forward to 1980's rundown. I think this is apt to be posted again: 29TH AUGUST Number one in Australia for 7 weeks over December/ January and now finally here is Pseudo Echo’s version of Lipps Inc’s “Funky Town” which features in the film “Revenge of The Nerds II: Nerds In Paradise” a fact that helped in breaking the song in the US where it made No 6 in July. The group cite their influences as the New romantic movement and include Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet, and they are, at least in the confines of 1987, proving more popular than either of those acts are. The track sold 26,146 last week. YA5ekZmhqj4
