August 6, 2024Aug 6 I think old songs entering/re-entering is gonna become a theme over the next few weeks, I'd guess One of the Girls, Whatever She Wants and Like That are all pretty close to dropping out and I can't see anything new to replace it so I can only predict an influx of older stuff. What exactly the older stuff will be is a mystery however.

August 6, 2024Aug 6 You’re right about those 3 being in peril plus “Down Bad” and “Nothing Matters” - everything else probably safe for at least a month. How about "Daylight"? I have that in trouble and below "Nothing Matters" currently, although I appreciate that might be wrong.
August 6, 2024Aug 6 Author How about "Daylight"? I have that in trouble and below "Nothing Matters" currently, although I appreciate that might be wrong. Yeah that certainly won’t last either: “Nothing Matters” #92 and “Daylight” #93 but the latter is falling more slowly.
August 6, 2024Aug 6 Yeah that certainly won’t last either: “Nothing Matters” #92 and “Daylight” #93 but the latter is falling more slowly. Ah fairs. I had them at #91 and #93, so good to know I was roughly right

August 13, 2024Aug 13 Rare so late in the year for a song in the current weekly Top 10 to be dropping down the YTD ('Houdini').
August 13, 2024Aug 13 Nice to see 'The Sound Of Silence' in there even if it is part of the old song clan.
August 13, 2024Aug 13 Author 6 weeks ago “Espresso” did 72k and we were saying in this thread maybe it could challenge “Stick Season” for the year end #1. It hasn’t had a good 6 weeks since then, dropping from 72k to 43k per week in really quite a short time for such a big hit. I doubt it will even catch “Beautiful Things” now.
August 13, 2024Aug 13 The Sound of Silence making the YTD despite not having spent a single day in the Spotify chart this year is impressive. I know that's partly helped by its 'sales' being split between the original and the CYRIL remix. Do we have any information on which one is actually more popular atm? I'd assume the remix but don't know for sure
August 14, 2024Aug 14 Author Do we have any information on which one is actually more popular atm? I'd assume the remix but don't know for sure I have no idea. I’d like to believe the original is more popular as it’s far superior but knowing how these things go you’re probably right haha.
