The Jungle situation seems to be the same as “Fast Car” after the Grammy’s. The OCC clearly somehow missed it last week and have instead reset it this week, I can only assume it was automatic as if the label had asked for it, they surely would’ve done so last week.

They did at least increase this week compared to last, but nowhere near 25% if Spotify is to be believed. Luckily it wasn’t cost a top 40 place last week either by the OCC being asleep.

It's very enduring for a song so avant-garde.

Natasha Bedingfield ~ Unwritten [confirmed to be on SCR by First Look update]

Noah Kahan and Sam Fender ~ Homesick

The Weeknd ~ One of the Girls (feat. Jennie and Lily Rose Depp)

all other charting songs not listed are either on ACR or have fewer than 7 charting weeks

Interesting how Natasha Bedingfield is back up to her recent peak (partly because of songs going to ACR last week) yet is on DCL-3. Similarly there are other songs on DCL that are climbing or pretty steady in the chart.
Teddy Swims not being on ACR yet is evil

 never change Jack

Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield is number 17 on tonight's First Look Chart so not on ACR yet.

Which of the past 3 weeks do we assume it had an increase? The latest one?

Spotify data suggests that if it is not on DCL-3 then it is on DCL-1 - as it looks highly likely it declined this week (despite climbing) but least likely to have declined the previous week.

How can a few songs avoid ACR when the weather is so bad, they feel like they are set for ACR when up against the new entries
  • Author

it was a bumper week for sales plus more new entries than usual skews perception so we have songs gaining even with dropping chart position

but even still Paul Russell gaining seems quite baffling and he's long overdue now

that Campbell song also looks like it's never giving up as is bloody Baby Shark

I keep forgetting the Campbell song is still there, I guess it's easy to ignore since it's outside the top 40.

I remember 'Coal' had some decent momentum behind it a couple of weeks ago and looked like it might yet go top 40, but that clearly didn't last long, ah well. 3 excellent songs going to ACR but obviously 'Escapism.' was just having a post BRITs bonus run and doesn't need to keep sticking around, and I'm happy enough with the run 'redrum' had, just a shame it wasn't quite a top 10 hit but it was clearly never going to get there anyway. The other 2 will not be missed x

Well at least he’s sliding further away from the top 40 so it’s not so much of a concern :)

You never know with these TikTok songs, it could do a 'Richy Mitch' and go Top 40 a year from now!
