The film it is getting the benefit from is only in cinemas currently and not on streaming (as far as I am aware). If it is doing this well off of cinema visits, then I expect a bigger surge when the film is more widely available like Saltburn. Would love to see Unwritten get a new peak in the top 5.

Rooting for The Last Dinner Party to scrape top 40 this week. Hopefully there is a radio edit available.

Yes, it’s “have” instead of “f***”…

I don't think the streaming release (whenever that is) of 'Anyone But You' will have anywhere near as big of an impact as 'Saltburn' did. Many people will have already seen ABY by that point, whereas Saltburn was only in cinemas for a couple of weeks and soon promoted heavily as an Amazon Original.

And as someone else mentioned, ABY is more likely to go on (paid) VOD platforms first rather than Netflix, Amazon, etc.

Yeah. Paid VOD won't have the same effect as a subbed streaming service would and by that point, I imagine it'll be too late for 'Unwritten' to get top 40 again (providing it's out of the T40 at the point it gets added to a subscription streaming service).

I heard it on Radio 1 the other day and they just blanked the word out iirc. Which does work to make the chorus sound slightly less jarring :P

It is good to see another new indie band getting a hit (and without having to rely on a cringy Minecraft streamer's fanbase this time x) but I really wish it was a song/band I cared more about. I've now heard their latest single as well and can't say it's much better, just found it pretty boring on first listen.
