All looking good around Europe for NMF playlists.

 

Now we need to wait for the big main (usa) NMF playlist. Hopefully top 10 on that list.....

This is quite impressive. I don't think any of the Tension singles made it this high on the NMF list. Hopefully it translates into some kind of chart placing, enough to encourage either label to put out a few physical singles (at least in the UK where it has the highest chance of success), remixes, video, etc. etc.

Which position is it on NMF US

NMF US the main one with 4.5m it is 8th in the list

 

After the first day streams Dance Alone is already Kylies 292nd most streamed Spotify track worldwide.

 

It seems really quiet on here for a Kylie release...... bit disappointing,

Hopefully that should at least secure an appearance somewhere on the Spotify chart.

 

I feel like this at least has minor hit potential, although whether it fulfills that is another matter entirely.

I’m not sure the iTunes Charts is a good way to gauge support anymore, it’s basically a defunct format for most people.

 

If I download it it’ll be merely for chart supporting purposes rather than to be played.

I know I know but we know we can get 1-2k download sales which can boost Kylie tracks to be appearing in the midweeks on Monday and make some Daily Mail articles hahaha

 

More playlists is the most important haha.

 

Just feels a bit flat in here after she just won a Grammy and has a new song out etc

 

A proper video no matter how cheap can also add lots of streaming sales for Sia

I haven’t got around to listening yet so I can’t really comment! :kink: Great that it was put 2nd on NMF UK though. I’ve noticed that the Popjustice members reaction to the song leans towards negative. I hope I like it! I think some fans tend to want the wheel to be reinvented with every single and will claim something is bad or boring if it’s conventional.

At this point from a Spotify POV, she’s getting a lot more support than her Tension singles did. Plus, we have the sia fan base as well. All up to the audience and the merit of the song.
