How Sia is setting up her album release overall has nothing really to do with Kylie.

I am talking about Kylie and Sia and how Sia is good for Kylie streaming adding Dance Alone and the other album tracks to the new single EP.

I'm finding it kinda amusing seeing people seemingly applauding Warner for taking advantage of Kylie's fanbase by making the physical single only available if they also buy a copy of Sia's album, but there we go...

 

I won't be buying the single as I have no interest in buying the Sia album. I think it's unlikely they'd even bother with a physical release if it wasn't for Kylie's feature!

It's a rip off and in another way a clever move but in a way its taking advantage of Kylie fans who really want a physical.i wonder what percentage of sales will kylie get from the single physical sales.

Video getting 60-70k views worldwide a day. Not loads but steady.

I think it’s a shrewd marketing move and one way to get something for giving Kylie fans what they want, I went with the cheapest formats of the album (Download).

 

I’m not mad at what they’ve done as I can’t wait to have a 12” vinyl copy of DA with all the mixes on it, and like you say without this link up of single and album bundle it’s likely we never would have got physical versions of the single.
