March 12, 20241 yr So weird to see this become such a smash. I don't dislike it but I can't hear anything about it that makes it such a stand out, aside from him being from Stranger Things. Which is fine and everything, he wouldn't be the first person to achieve success with music off the back of being famous for other reasons.
March 12, 20241 yr It is an old song though so I don't think him being from Stranger Things really has much to do with it, seems like the song is just resonating strongly with the TikTok crowd for whatever reason (if anything it's mildly surprising nothing from his music career took off before now). It's very bog standard forgettable synthpop for me.

March 13, 20241 yr I think it’s very much the trend. It’s a lot of nostalgia and sharing love for places/ people you love, and the trend is what’s making me love it. I don’t think I’d like it as much if it didn’t have such a sweet trend to go along with it

Sunday at 15:183 days Ya there is a good chance it will at the least enter the top 5 and hopefully higher than its original number 4 peak.
Sunday at 18:313 days I’ve noticed R1 have been playing it a lot as a recurrent over the past 6 weeks!
Monday at 23:502 days Its in with a real chance of number 1 this week so hopefully it can get there.Worst result this week is a new peak so its a win win.
