Missing the Decades spin-off from 2003 and maybe a couple of others after that actually.

I got Now Clubland yesterday from Asda and all the songs are individual, not mixed

As much as I see the logic of including Ordinary on Now 120, it seems like a mistake to have overlooked Burning Down given it's latest peak and the huge overnight success of the artist too.

I know we are still a couple of weeks away from the release of Now 120, but I need to see these songs all added to Now 121 before they are forgotten by the deadwood of the charts;

These songs I'm hoping get picked for Now 121;

Lady Gaga – Abracadabra

Tate McRae – 2 hands / Sports car

Sabrina Carpenter – Busy Woman

Chappell Roan – The Giver

JADE – FUFN

Doechii – Anxiety

Sam Fender – Arm's Length

Morgan Wallen – I'm The Problem

Benson Boone – Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else

Remember Monday – What The Hell Just Happened?

Along with;

Sonny Fodera feat. Clementine Douglas – Tell Me

Lil Tecca – Dark Thoughts

Sugababes – Jungle

Tom Grennan – Boys Don't Cry

Jonas Brothers – Love Me To Heaven

Ariana Grande – twilight zone

They really did a great job on 1998 Extra, I thought they would screw it up with not getting the single mixes but only a few are wrong (including Robbie's songs, but I haven't seen the radio edits of those on compilations for years).

Very pleased to see e.g. the Tin Tin Out mix of What Can I Do, the Rude Boy edit of End Of The Line, the 7" version of High, the UK mix of La Primavera etc...Stranded is listed as 'Original Copy' which is a strange credit, but then I'm not aware of any UK compilation it's been on since the 90s, so maybe they had to really dig around the labels for that one.

The Clubland CD is really good, very inspired and it's great to see the Clubland brand back, I really hope this sells well and we get a follow up. I'm so glad it's not mixed as I don't have a lot of these songs unmixed. A few wrong edits here and there (the 2001 version of True Love Never Dies is an interesting choice, and what is that inro on Martin Solveig's Hello?) but generally very well put together and a good recap of the past 25 years of Clubland style dance. Avicii probably deserved a song on here, there's a Faithless remix of his and a cover of Seek Bromance but nothing by Avicii himself). Many of these never made a Now though, so it's a great concept. Also very interested to see that they had the license for Energy 52's Café Del Mar, yet didn't include it on the 1998 Extra?

Just had an e-mail from HMV Online saying NOW 120 has been dispatched.

That's early. Usually expect that despatch notice on a Wednesday.

So it will probably arrive on Wednesday instead of the usual Thursday or Friday.

Not complaining.

Surely that does hinder the chart position for next week?

Good point, i would have thought pre-orders would count towards next week's chart.

Any idea when the yearbooks for 1994 - 1997 are planned? It’s like they are taunting me as these are my favourite years for music.

Would I be right in thinking we’ll get another 90s one before the end of the year? They’ll probably go 70s next and then back to 90s unless they do a 85-89?

So glad we got 1998, never thought I’d see the day!

I picked up Now Yearbook '92 on vinyl last week as it was down to around £20 in Amazon's spring deals. Generally I don't get the vinyls, only the special edition CDs, but I might get the 90s vinyls. I'm sure they'll get round to one of the mid-90s years before long, after a 70s edition probably.

I listened to half of Now Presents Clubland yesterday and it was really good, as expected, as I always was obsessed with the Clubland series and there are some interesting remix choices on there. It doesn't seem to be on iTunes curiously, not sure if that's a licensing thing with some of the tracks digitally or if they're trying to push the sales of the CD.

Next 90s yearbook which I hope is 1991 or 1995 will be the fourth yearbook at the end of August/beginning of September as the third one at the end of June will definitely be 70s. Now the 80s are done, it’ll go back and forth from 70s to 90s. I reckon 1975 and 1976 will be the next two 70s yearbooks so they can finish off the second half of the 70s and release 1975-1979 and its extra. It makes me wonder if they’ll do a vault 1980-1984 once they’ve completed the first half of the 80s for the vaults

I know it's not technically from the yearbook series (unfortunately) but they could do another bumper release of 00s songs from the vault that failed to make the recent Millennium spin-offs from the decade.

It would be brilliant if they did that as there’s lots of 00s songs that aren’t on compilations. I was listening to absolute 00s and most of the songs I heard were songs that I don’t have or haven’t heard. I think they should do more 00s compilations. Another thing, if Now 123 is released on 10th April 2026 and Now 126 is released on 2nd April 2027, then it confirms that spring Nows now have set release dates of either first or second Friday in April

I treated myself to the deluxe Yearbook and Yearbook Extra 98 CDs.

I mean 1998 has always been one of my favourite music years so I couldn't not really, even despite owning all the main Nows and Hits albums from this year.

Really well compiled and comprehensive - it'll make good accompanying listening when BBC Four get to showing the 98 editions of TOTP in a couple of months' time!

I must admit I'm excited whilst equal parts nervous for when they finally do one for 1999. Only in so far as they have had a rather nasty habit of compiling incorrect versions of hits from that year on other retrospectives (watch where my eyes fall, Shania Twain and ATB).

It’s bad enough that The Days on Now 120 instead of the Notion remix which is the reason it became a hit but they muted the word smoking. Even r1 don’t mute that word whenever they play that song
