TEXAS HOLD 'EM is down by more than 100k on this time last week, so I get where the "collapse" comment is coming from - a dramatic word when it's still riding high and doing very well though.

Basically, both Beyoncé and Ariana are doing very well x

Please stop pushing your opinion on yes, and? as if it's a fact. It's been a big hit - dislike it all you want, but it's clearly not the opinion of the wider public in the UK.

Yeah, it's not a big hit. A hit, and only in the UK, I don't know why you're so upset, I'm allowed to say what I like or do not like. Thank you.

Hope Benson Boone can catch the #01 this week !

Stream it guys !!

Y’all are SO FCKING EXHAUSTING.

Give it a damn rest. Is the problem Ariana “flopping”/“under performing” or is it more likely that you all had unreasonable expectations to help with that narrative?

This. The state of the some of the posts in this thread is embarrassing. Securing your ENTIRE album into the Top 40 of 2 major streaming platforms is impressive for any artist.

So Texas Hold 'Em is ahead of Beautiful Things on iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music.

Beautiful Things is ahead Texas Hold 'Em on Spotify and Youtube.

It's gonna be hard for Benson to take the #01 this week if he doesn't progress on iTunes, Amazon and Apple.

Come on Beyoncé, you've already had 3 weeks at number #01.

Yeah, it's not a big hit. A hit, and only in the UK, I don't know why you're so upset, I'm allowed to say what I like or do not like. Thank you.

Share your opinions on the song itself all you want but it has been a hit, it’s been #1 in USA and done solidly well in other places = a hit! Just because it hadn’t been a 10 week #1 doesn’t mean it’s not a hit shrug

That wasn't even a response to you, so I'd very much appreciate if you didn't take that rude tone with me, because I've not been rude to anyone in this thread. In my post, I specifically said (to Liam sota) "dislike it all you want" - so yes, you are allowed to say what you like or do not like. If you think I'm "upset" then I'd suggest re-reading my post as well as the context around the Ariana discourse over the past two months in UK Charts so you can understand it better.

And my post was specifically about the UK as I also mentioned in the quoted post. yes, and? has spent 7 weeks in the top 10, an eighth just outside, and it's probably heading straight back in this week too. I don't see how that's not a big hit - and that's regardless of your opinion of the song.

I genuinely just don’t understand why people need to bang on about people they don’t like so much

Can’t say Noah Kahan is to my taste but I wasn’t sat every day counting the numbers waiting for Stick Season to drop off, I was instead just… happy for the SEB revival, to see Houdini stable, to see Yes And? with a good debut. This is what I mean about this thread having such a strong focus on negativity and waiting to be able to use the word “flop” at the first possible opportunity. It’s *always* so negative to enter this thread.

On that note… keep climbing Von Dutch pls x

Ariana 58.2 million streams worldwide, biggest streams of the year till date

Ended the haters of this thread, their floppy opinions TANKED.

Stable, and? continues to smash, CRY ABOUT IT

Schadenfreude. Not like I support it but I think it's human nature unfortunately.

tbf the collapse comment was about the US, where the song was fighting for #2 on Spotify and suddenly started dropping like crazy, lost 1 million streams in a very short time, was even #11 yesterday before the Ariana drop and now it's at #24

not even Beyonce herself would question that the song collapsed in the US :D

Never in my life did I think I’d see people referring to a 3 week #1 as a collapse but here we are :P

Exactly but buzzjack for you

Well you would have been waiting a long time. A lot of very big artists now and in the past had a bit of narcissism about them it does create hardcore fans and people put off by it. You can't compare Ariana or kanye to Noah kahan it's not the same stratosphere.

Any explanation for the massive climb from Good Love by Hannah Laing at #77 (up 114 spots)?

Edited by Maestro

Well you would have been waiting a long time. A lot of very big artists now and in the past had a bit of narcissism about them it does create hardcore fans and people put off by it. You can't compare Ariana or kanye to Noah kahan it's not the same stratosphere.

I suppose arrogantly offering to give everybody £20 for a prediction which didn't come true is the opposite of "narcicissm" isn't it?
