'Heavyweight Champion Of The World' from Reverend and The Makers finishes up at 5th. It was the debut hit for the band with the title being from a line in Barry Hines book A Kestrel for a Knave. The books main character is about a under achieving young boy growing up in Yorkshire.

Reverend and The Makers followed this up with another top 20 hit in 'He Said He Loved Me' and a third single which missed the top 40. Their 7th album Heatwave in the Cold North released last year became the bands first top 10 album in the UK in 16 years!

'Love Is Noise' peaked at #4 and came from The Verve's album 'Forth' which was their 4th, so it would be poetic if that's where they drop out.

(quite a lead early on for Steps though!)
