April 7th – A song you like that is instrumental with no lyrics Martin Garrix - Animals
Tbf, Animals contained some lyrics, or you can say a chant (Motherf***in' animals). However, since it was you who sent the song, I give a maximum tolerance. :D

Day 14:

I've got this far without posting ABBA, so here's their masterpiece from 1982:

Day 14 Reneè Rapp - Colarado

April 14th – A song you like released from any year ending with 2

There were so many options it took me ages trying to work out what to choose, what year did I want, what genre, whether it should be a big hit, obscure hit, album track etc.

In the end I gravitated towards '92 and when I remembered this I knew this eerily atmospheric mood piece from Apocalyptic Folk act Current 93 (and featuring Rose from Strawberry Switchblade on backing vocals) was the one I wanted to highlight.

In some ways, having hundred of songs to choose from makes it a lot harder to pick one, but I've gone for a song by one of my favourite bands who remain criminally under-rated and don't get many mentions here on Buzzjack, even though I bet a lot of people would quite enjoy their brand of kitsch 90s pop. They've got better songs than this but this is the best one from 1992 and still a glorious pop song!

(I almost went for Radiohead's 'Creep', charting in 1993 but originally released in 1992, but as it's my all-time favourite song I felt it was a lazy choice!)

Edited by Mangø

From 1982, I'm picking this as it gets overlooked in favour of their more well known song, Party Fears Two.

The Associates - Club Country

One of my 2022 faves and a perfect summery song for the nice weather today - although it probably soundtracked my Summer 2023 more as that was when I got to see Rosalía perform it live!

Like that song more than Party Fears Two. It's a very unusual sounding top 20 hit.

After seeing this I will choose another song from the same year

Sorry Herbs but someone already sent The Chicks for that daily challenge! You’ll need to find another artist. :(

Damn I thought we could have the same artist twice!

Ok, let's go with this one:

Yep, some artists have appeared more than once, which is fine of course, but not for the same challenge unfortunately.

Your replacement song is fine of course! ^_^
