Day 13 - A song you like that is a country song.

My favourite Dolly song!

An additional one is Country Roads an incredible song in any form by Olivia Newton John's version is my utmost fave.

Beyoncé’s latest album is more country than Kane Brown is but that’s a discussion for a country forum :kink:

Ooh, that's reminded me of a Dolly Parton song that I love, can I change my country song selection to this one instead please? :D

Normally that’s ok but I’ve been purposely limiting submissions to one artist per day, so I’m afraid spiceboy gets to be the one who sent Dolly Parton today. ;)

April 14th – A song you like released from any year ending with 2

challenged by Roba.

Rob loves even numbers, not odd ones, especially ones that end with a digit of 2 (1952, 1962, 1972, 1982, 1992, 2002, 2012 and 2022). This is what he wants us all to have a think about today, perhaps because that’s the year that chart data started from? So, with a vast array of songs available to choose from these specific years, have a think of the most interesting discoveries or throwbacks to songs you think others should hear. Try and pick an artist you’ve not picked so far and, as always, avoid artist clashes with other participants for today please. ;)

April 14th – A song you like released from any year ending with 2 [Challenged by Roba.]

So much choice for today’s challenge, but the year I chose to represent is 2012, and the song chosen is from the dubstep scene, which was pioneered by Skrillex. Whilst most would consider this to be just noise, for me it is art and it was a new audible experience for me at the time, and from a very good album too I might add.

Skrillex & The Doors – Breakn’ A Sweat
