I ordered two of the vinyl, I probably would've been tempted to order two of everything but I'm in the US so it wouldn't have helped her sales in the UK so figured I'd get the variant that I could actually use :D

Do physical copies normally take this long to ship? I cant tell wether the September date is linked to the rollout somehow or wether it just takes a while especially considering they didn’t even seem like a thought pre release.

I think September makes sense for the vinyl, she's only just recorded the S.A.D version, and from what I remember vinyl is always a little backed up so you have to wait to get them pressed. I'm not sure about cassettes but the CDs definitely seem like they should be able to go out way sooner? Would love if the VMA rumor was true but just not sure how likely it is!

I’ve been checking in regularly but was locked out of my account and didn’t have my email anymore. Tried to sign up with new details and it wouldn’t work.

I genuinely think they had no intention of releasing physicals (Not sure many RCA artists do?) so I’m guessing they scrambled to put them together and that’s the full process of pressing the vinyls unless it is because she has a VMA’s performance coming and it ties in with that?

ACR can only be avoided by an increase of streams. It has no effect with physicals I don't think.

If the S.A.D. version is also released on September 13th too, it’ll help with ACR.

The release date for the physicals would contribute to Angel of My Dream's 9th week in the chart. Well, who knows what is in store for this single and how well it'll be doing by mid September, but it strikes me as being rather late for them to make a particularly significant impact. :thinking: I was hoping these would be a week 2 or 3 boost tactic. Oh well...

 

The high prices are offputting to me too (the CD/Cassette) so I'll likely pass on those. £8.99 for the vinyl isn't too bad relative to some other releases*, so I might get that to show some support (and have the format with the largest artwork *.* )
