Nooooo :(

I'm shocked how it's fallen so much given it started so solidly.

I really wish the physicals were out sooner, I think by the time they are released the boost won't make much of a difference where as if it was now or in the last 2 weeks it would impact more.

I feel like that 50 position looks worse than it is. There’s a couple of artists above that have more than 3 tracks as well as there seems to be quite a few tracks on ACR above etc..

It’s odd how it’s staying stable everywhere except Spotify though. But Sat and Sun streams aren’t going to be good days for her for another couple of days at least so hopefully she can start climbing a few places again from tomorrows update!

Really puzzled as to why this is underperforming so much.

What exactly does it take to get a hit these days? This song is so fresh and exciting and the video is fantastic, Jade is a well established name in the pop scene and it’s getting decent airplay. What the f*** does it take??

I personally think every Little Mix solo release faces an uphill battle. Their names alone aren't enough to garner streaming numbers. I would also expect there's something about the people with the power to push songs not pushing their music a lot.

Jade has done comparatively better than the week 1 entry, week 2 massive drop of the other solo songs.

It is a shame. Angel of My Dreams is one of my tracks of the year.

Isn't it holding up well pretty decently aside from Spotify? She's also only #36 on Airplay which is a low spot for a Little Mix - related song to be on the second week.

On other news, I noticed the song's under Walt Disney Music Company on Spotify which is odd. I wonder if it'll be featured somewhere?

Thankfully I don’t think AOMD is the expected smash hit from the album. I reckon it was released first to establish Jade as a solo artist and generating a lot of hype and buzz, which it’s done.

The HUGE mistake of this relase has been the physicals. If they would been ready from week 1, she propably would have entered at Top 3 so the publicity and impact, plus the video, would have created a bigger impact, as well a hit feeling. I think the general feeling is that she flopped a little bit? I mean, is not reality but she released a killer song with an incredible video and is already dissapering :(

So unfair, I hope the next releases keep the same quality in terms of music and videos, clearly she has the vision.

I agree. I really think this was accidentally bigger than they anticipated it to be (hence no physicals until they saw there was a demand) and delayed airplay response compared to the others. Not to say it’s not a single ofc, but it definitely feels more of a “statement” single as opposed to a single in the way ‘Forget About Us’ was intended etc…

I’m still not sure single success matters as much for Jade and her team than it does say for Perrie.

As ever this is just my thoughts  I’m absolutely not saying it’s a “buzz” single, I just believe they weren’t expecting it to do as well as it has done and garner the hype it has. I’m so excited to see where we go from here.

I don't think it could conceivably be seen that way, especially since she's by far outperformed the others and it's having a steady enough run.

I don't think Jade would have sold enough physicals to make the Top 5 in week 1 let alone the Top 3. £5.99 CD / £8.99 Cassettes are probably not destined to shift a huge amount!

The main reason Leigh-Anne sold so many Don't Say Love CDs is that they were cheap (£1.99 for a 2 CD set), free postage and were signed by her!

It's annoying that her and Perrie ('Tears') didn't do nice, cheap bundles! :drama:

(Needless to say that I think I ordered Jade's without even looking at the prices )

I mean yes it may have got a slightly higher peak but it would have fallen just the same if not a bigger drop on week 2 so I’m not really sure what this solves.

I’d rather a long standing chart hit than a peak top 3 and a sharp fall from the top 10.

Has anyone noticed the Better off Alone remix taking off a bit on socials?!? She should definitely release it!

So which one is it, a hit or a flop an underperformance. :P

Apparently the Better Off Alone/AOMD mashup is on Apple Music, but not on Spotify. :( I wanna hear! :P
Glad it’s gained slightly today on Spotify, hopefully still top 20 come Friday
