June 27, 20241 yr Like some of The bangles and alcazars songs, never really heard any of Tpau apart from the obvious. Not sure on the others on this batch
June 27, 20241 yr I love 'Destiny' by Zero 7  but am not too familiar with the rest of their work
June 27, 20241 yr Love The Bangles  I still think 'Eternal Flame' is one of the most beautiful songs ever and Susanna's voice on it is still spine-tingling, particularly towards the end! They also had a fair amount of other great songs, 'I'll Set You Free' and 'Be With You' in particular are very under-rated. Wish I'd have got to see them live.
June 28, 20241 yr M2M was nowhere near my votes but I'm glad to see them here, 'Don't Say You Love Me' is lovely
June 28, 20241 yr Love The Bangles :'I'll Set You Free' and 'Be With You' in particular are very under-rated. I always felt ‘Be With You’ was one of the most underrated songs of its era. I loved it! And their version of A Hazy Shade Of Winter.

June 28, 20241 yr Oh I’m not familiar with Hole but I really like all 4 of the others revealed there! Chop Suey is one of my favourite nu metal anthems, Born Slippy is one of my favourite songs of the 90s and I’ve heard some other great stuff from Underworld, The White Stripes were unique and The Who were on my 60s shortlist.
June 28, 20241 yr 4 great entries there, all of which I forgot about 🙈 I’m really gonna have to go through this list at some point and give a listen it relisten to t of the acts
June 28, 20241 yr Amazed The Who are a new entry :o one I'd have voted for if I listened to more than 3 or 4 songs that I already know.
June 28, 20241 yr Underworld were not too far from getting points from me. XTC, The Bangles and Sweet all have some great singles, I haven't heard any albums in full from them.
June 28, 20241 yr I love Born Slippy but it's the only one song from Underworld I remember. Edited June 28, 20241 yr by Jason
