There used to be one, iirc! It died out.

Country artists are fine in this forum though, don't feel like you have to stick to this "General" thread (also this general thread having 2 pages in 4 years doesn't help it's chances of getting a forum tbh )

So much Lukey!

Are there any country artists who aren't offensive? :teresa:

(Seriously though, yes he is the one who was caught on camera saying the N word, on top of various other incidents of generally being a dickhead. To be fair he has been staying out of controversy recently and back to just the typical sin of releasing grating/cringeworthy music. 'One Thing At A Time' is alright tbf x)

Kind of surprised how few songs he has in that list, he's pretty huge on streaming in the US.

I hate to admit it, but Morgan’s recent songs have been really great. Especially ‘Last Night’ and ‘Everything I Want’.

Taking its data from Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine: The Big 615, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio - the first ever UK Radio Country Airplay chart has launched!

It's a Top 20 every Sunday.

The first chart is as follows:

1. Conner Smith - Creek Will Rise

2. Cody Johnson - The Painter

3. Warren Zeiders - Pretty Little Poison

4. Jordan Davis - Tuscon Too Late

5. Ashley Cooke - your place

6. Kane Brown - I Can Feel It

7. Parker McCollum - Burn It Down

8. Lainey Wilson - Wild Flowers and Wild Horses

9. Bailey Zimmerman - Where It Ends

10. Chayce Beckham - 23

11. Nate Smith - World On Fire

12. Tyler Hubbard - Back Then Right Now

13. Dylan Gossett - Coal

14. Noah Kahan - Stick Season

15. Tigirlily Gold - I Tried a Ring On

16. Jackson Dean - Fearless

17. Keith Urban - Straight Line

18. Carly Pearce (feat. Chris Stapleton) - We Don't Fight Anymore

19. Megan Moroney - I'm Not Pretty

20. Luke Combs - Where The Wild Things Are

'Stick Season' absolutely isn't a country song, but I believe at least Absolute Radio Country is playing it.

UK taking after US country radio in not supporting Zach Bryan enough I see x

(I've heard a few of these songs from checking them out as Hot 100 / Bubbling Under new entries, 'Creek Will Rise' is surprisingly not too bad despite sounding right out of the bro country era. I also actually really like 'Wildflowers And Wild Horses'! And 'Coal' ofc x)

Yeah, Absolute Radio Country don't seem to have played Zach Bryan at all recently. Very strange, especially considering they're loving 'Coal' at the moment.

Perhaps they will when he has something new out.

edit: I can see that 'I Remember Everything' was their Record of The Week when it first released, so I presume they played it a lot then.

A lot of overlap with the US country airplay chart then, that's interesting but also a tad disappointing. #15 is amazing for Tigirlily Gold! I saw them perform in 2017 before they even moved to Nashville.
Dominated by males also like the US country chart  Creek Will Rise is a BOP though

Country to Country will return in 2025 in London, Belfast and Glasgow.

Lets hope they pick a headliner who actually rehearses for their show :kink:

The two i'm listenning the most right now:
