I'm not sure about #1, but I'd be very surprised not to see Raye debut at least top 3/5

It'd need to open with similar sales to the peak of 'Escapism.' to be a top 3 contender - not impossible but I wouldn't bet on it (especially with it being 7 minutes long).

 

None of the singles from her last album came even remotely close to debuting in the top 40 so it won't be hard to improve on that but I don't know if she's really improved her name power that much, 'Escapism.' still feels like a bit of an outlier. But I guess she did at least manage to get a couple more top 40 hits from the album after that.

She has released Genesis as an ep, with the full 7 min song and also in 3 parts, part 2 is the viral bit that includes the segment she sang at the Brits so maybe splitting it up like that will help

Found it on Amazon for the first time at #522. Quite low but it's been added to the Amazon Top 50 most played playlist a couple hours ago when it updated for the week - which I believe is the biggest playlist on Amazon. So with the album release and extra playlist support hopefully it'll rise a decent amount of streaming services to climb into the top 40! :cheer:

 

Also noticed HHUK has updated and "360" is #40 in the playlist. Not sure if this is the first time it's on there or if it's moved up though?

Ok i've listened to the new Raye track and it's absolutely brilliant.

 

I really hope she can get a strong debut with this.
