Binge watching for the 3rd time and I’m still as invested in it as I was on the first watch, feel like there’s lots to take in and little parts I missed.

I think this thread - https://www.buzzjack.com/forums/topic/274208-itunes-streaming-youtube - could be more appropriate for Can't Get You Out of My Head chart updates, than in here. This documentary

Yes to rewatching, first episode much better 2nd watch. Plus we have the tour Wednesday.

Must say this UK heatwave is putting me off watching TV generally, was going to rewatch 2 and 3 but was out late at a party Sunday and melted yesterday haha.

Netflix Tension Live is available from midnight tonight in the UK.

List of spoilers on SH and it looks like it’s going to be a great watch.

Will there be a thread for it @Jessie Where

Rewatched 2 & 3…much better experience watching it all again and it’s so obvious now that the 2nd cancer diagnosis was something additional he had to add in ..hence the longer last episode length.

Bless her. It’s a great tribute.

Bring on the tour…definitely will be watching it multiple times!!!

I think people overestimate the direct sales and streaming impact of documentaries There was that very popular doc about creating We Are the World (The Greatest Night in Pop) and the song itself gained only a little extra interest.

Agree with this despite me wanting to see a big boost.

TV seems to be having less and less of an impact on streaming in general.

Ok so I watched the documentary three times. Needless to say, it is very good. Apart from the second cancer reveal, I guess I am surprised how much influence Hutchence had on her.

I am as perplexed as some people about the lack of interview with William Baker given he knew her well professionally AND personally, and Terry Blamey too. However, I am not surprised by the lack of mention from 2006-2019 because it was really a cycle of album, promotion, then tour, rinse and repeat.

I did expect that Terry would be mentioned throughout so surprised he wasn't especially as they are on good terms.

Terry probably didn’t want to be involved for privacy. William Baker was at least shown a bit more but his influence/ partnership with Kylie wasn’t explained…guess they couldn’t fit it in or Kylie/ Will weren’t willing to include.

Need to see this so badly but I don’t have Netflix!

I signed up on their lowest tariff (£5.99).

The more I think about it, I do understand why from a narrative perspective they have that leap from 2006-2019. They address issues of ageism when they get to 2019 and after spending a lot of time on her first cancer diagnosis they probably wanted to focus on something extremely positive like the Glastonbury performance. I imagine they (or Kylie) wanted to avoid any mention of Joshua Sasse too.

I think her Glasto performance of ‘All the Lovers’ was used and I think I remember seeing clips from the Aphrodite Tour, which would be the biggest highlight of that era.
