Yes but you know Kylie likes to take our money and build on some extra promo due to tour/netflix etc, I mean she has 4 or 5 more albums of hits to put into it lol.

I guess this got delayed or pushed back then....... 20th June was the date? Does anyone have any update?

Wonder if they delayed this deliberately when they knew Team Kylie where releasing an updated Xmas album and Amazon Exclusive.

Maybe catch all this in the Documentary or at least add to it etc.

Pretty sure this will come out sometime around the Tension Tour February release?

A Greatest Hits + 4 new songs could work though, especially if she has songs but doesn't want a full promo new album they can stick it with the Netflix as the promo

I think its too soon for another Greatest Hits even if 4 new songs are added.

I think fans would get more behind some unreleased material etc finally getting onto an album.

Honestly this!

It’s far too soon for a GH - especially after the last one was to celebrate/cash in on Glastonbury.

I’m guessing for the 40th anniversary in music in a few years they’ll wheel another out, I just hope apart from a standard release that they also trawl the vaults for the fans.

On the note of GH - Ultimate Kylie is by far the best, I wish they had kept it in print for longer.

Ultimate Kylie definitely should have been kept in print for much longer than it was.

I do like step back in time aswell though and i am a fan of Greatest Hits albums but i think as Kylie has done a few it would be nice for her to do something different.

I think the 40th anniversary would be a perfect time to release a rarities album as i think its something most of her hardcore fans want from her.

Agree for rarities but I find it frustrating that step back in time is an incomplete album on streaming due to licensing.

With Elton, Fleetwood Mac, Eminem, ABBA greatest hits all being mainstays in the albums charts I think it’s silly not to have an ‘album’ where casual fans can go to play the big hits to get the streams/sales clocking up.

Even a single long CD length (20 tracks) would do the job. Those with the biggest streaming numbers + early mega hits + recent highlights. Sorted.

They just need to update SBIT digitally with Disco and Tension era. We definitely don’t need another renamed compilation.

I'd be all for a live greatest hits, she could take songs from different tours and piece it together that way and it's a way around licencing issues aswell.

Honestly though my pick for the 40th celebrations would be the anti tour on cd and dvd it's something I really really want, rarities album would be my 2nd choice.

Oh wow, I was under the impression it had been widely accepted as a false rumour!

I think when we do actually get to see the doc its going to be either brilliant or we will be left unimpressed, i dont know why but i dont think there be a middle with it in terms of perception.

Well she is a very private person so I agree, either she let it all out or she didn't reveal too much to leave us unimpressed but then, her love life, her family relationship are all out in the open so I don't know how much "exclusive" she can tell...

Kylie has a great way of doing interviews that she manages to give a lot and also very little at the same time which is a great trait.

For me, her private life is her private life and for interviews documentaries etc I'd love for it be all about her albums and singles where she talks about how she now rates the songs, her faves, least faves, songs she felt should have been singles, her feelings when singles and albums underperformed and how she ranks her own albums in line of preferences.

I'd also love her to talk more indepth about the IP era and where her head was at when it didnt perform well and where she thought her career may go when popularity was in decline.

She’s mentioned going through photos & listening to mixes of her songs so I feel she’s been quite thorough looking back on her career.

I’m hoping that as it’s an official doc we’ll get steve Anderson & Biff and other collaborators giving their tuppence worth which may have a little more detail.

This please! Update the streaming album and throw out a rehashed CD/Vinyl for the collectors.

Looks like a lot will be stuff from residency, padam return etc and lead to tension tour + archives from start of her career and all the way through

Should be fun. Maybe released in time for tension tour physicals and maybe even Tension Tour to Netflix? Late Feb.

It must be near enough complete and probably added a bit of Xmas stuff in their as she added another number 1 single and album in UK. It was due to be released summer 2025 so defo been delayed because of the Xmas 2025 plans etc.

It will good exposure and while huge fans might not find too much new info her younger audiences will learn stuff
