With Switzerland currently ahead of Germany, the Scotland game is redundant

BBC commentator making a embarrassing blunder there. They only got 2 points for a win in that 1986 world cup. So it's not 'the same format' even if it had the same number of teams. It got changed to 3 points in 1994 at the worlds.

Don't know why the commentators seem to think that 2 points might be possible for Scotland to go through. In this day and age 2 points would never be enough whether it's the Euros or the World Cup. Scotland have to win this match to have any chance, it's as simple as that!

Not just win, but Switzerland have to lose for them to even have a chance. A lot of things need to line up for Scotland to have any chance at all

Mathematically they can still go through as a best third side on 2 points if other games go their way in the rest of match day 3. That's why they're saying it might - but they'd be leaving an awful lot to luck. Realistically they need the 4 points, but mathematically they can still go through on 2 points which is what the commentators are referring to. As they said though they'll be playing to win.

Looked awful, was he having a seizure on the pitch? No idea if it was caused by the collision but can only hope it looks positive if they're carrying the game on.

Germany feel like they're getting more and more desperate and frustrated.

Keeper needs banning, did the exact same earlier this season against Hull. Just wipes players out.

Hungary just missed two one on ones. Scotland can't create a chance to save their lives in this game
