June 12, 20241 yr Wonder what they've gone for? I'd love for it to be 'Whatcha Doing', but I can see it being 'End of an Era'

June 13, 20241 yr Author And it turns out that she shot that the music video for "Falling Forever" in Budapest. View this post on Instagram From Refresher HU: (translated from Hungarian) Last week, the singer visited Hungary, where she shot a music video for the song "Falling Forever". Last Wednesday, June 5, Dua Lipa started her summer mini-tour in Berlin, within the framework of which she will perform songs from her latest album, Radical Optimism, in nine European cities. In addition to the concerts, however, the singer tries to complete the feeling of radical optimism in other ways, and as can be seen from the gallery she recently shared on Instagram, she shot the video clip for one of the album's tracks in Budapest. According to our insider information, the singer arrived in Budapest after last Wednesday's concert in Berlin, where she shot a video clip for the track "Falling Forever" at Korda Studio, and presumably stayed in the country until her performance in Croatia, i.e. Sunday.
June 13, 20241 yr Not a great single choice In your troll era I see!! HOW LOOOOOOOOOOoOOOOOOOONG As someone who isn’t a big fan, this was the immediate highlight from the album for me and instantly one of my fave tracks by her. A great choice. ‘End of an era’ is just “more of the same” from her and she doesn’t need that right now, even if that is on the stronger end of her sound (and better than both ‘Training Season’ and the most recent single). Whether it’s a hit or not, no idea - it’s really hard to judge post album singles now.
June 13, 20241 yr The worst on the album That's easily the "song" after it! Edited June 13, 20241 yr by Jessie Where
June 13, 20241 yr Wait are you all joking? Or being serious? This is by far the best thing she’s done in ages and her best single since ‘Hallucinate’ if not ‘Physical’!
June 13, 20241 yr End of an Era was right there, so much fun and perfect for the summer. I really tried getting into Falling Forever but it's so cheesy and basic. The production sounds cheap.
June 13, 20241 yr I wanted 'Whatcha Doing', although I wasn't really expecting them to go for it. 'End of An Era' sounds like it was thrown together in 5 minutes.
June 13, 20241 yr I wanted 'Whatcha Doing', although I wasn't really expecting them to go for it. 'End of An Era' sounds like it was thrown together in 5 minutes. LOVE Whatcha Doing and also had a feeling they wouldn't go for it. I guess it didn't help that Illusion uses the phrase "Whatcha doing" in its chorus.
June 13, 20241 yr I knew it lol I love the song, it was instant love for me but I am not sure if it’s going to be a hit though (in all honesty at this point nothing is going to be a hit from the album unfortunately), but hoping for a viral tiktok moment to happen or something!!!
June 13, 20241 yr I love this a lot so I'm happy it's a single, but I do wonder how well it will do. I get where people are coming from when they say it should remain an album fan favourite. Hard to know what the correct choice would be though; 'These Walls' at least has already charted Top 40 but it seems a lot of people aren't a fan, 'End of an Era' is too much of a call back to 'Future Nostalgia' but not quite as good, 'Whatcha Doing' would work but I agree that it doesn't feel like something that would be first choice for the label.
June 13, 20241 yr For me it feels like an outlier on the album and a regression. Doesn't fit with the album's vibe. The singles so far have been fun, high quality production and some interesting elements. The "How looooong", melodramatic lyrics and galloping noises. I can't take it seriously. I don't think anything would have been a hit but if it gets good streaming playlisting and a physical release it could go top 40 I suppose.
