As a continuation of this thread, I've collated some stats. I'm still trying to work out how to categorise things; I opted not to include singers who became actors.

I've aimed to include anything that either has a certification or available sales somewhere. Any help with missing figures would be appreciated.

Nick Berry had a #1 with 'Every Loser Wins' and a #2 with 'Heartbeat' - surely they must be certified?

Sports people - Glen and Chris, aka Glen Hoddle and Chris Waddle.

Also, of course, various football teams.

No certification for Glen & Chris.

Which teams?

I thought they would be, but seemingly not.
what about idina menzel, does she fit the actor/actress category for let it go/ into the unknown?

I guess there’s a lot more to be added by going down the Disney rabbit hole.

Geraldine McQueen (Peter Kay)?

I remember Man United (come on you reds), Liverpool (move move move) and Arsenal (hot stuff) all having top 10 hits in the 90s, think all under their own names?

Did the RSPB single I posted in your other thread count in this as an unusual charting source hats not a musician?
Yes - I only have the sales for the first two weeks but I doubt it added much more than that.

I think there could be scope for another thread for Disney songs/actresses like her (Julie Andrews etc).

I opted to include only the highest Peter Kay track (which he performed on). None of the Geraldine stuff has been certified.

Come On You Reds and Move Move Move both had a certification (and thus I have included them). Nothing for Arsenal though.

Leeds United and various England squads have had hit singles.
No certifications for Leeds United, though they had a #10 single.

Which England squads?
