Absolutely shocking that discussion of this on its initial release was confined to the album thread in 2013. Well, this deserves its own thread as it has returned to the chart today at #75 thanks to the Rivo Remix gaining some traction. Rivo has given us an afro house version which completely elevates the original garage track into something fresh. I'm hoping for some further chart climbs now this has made its way in.

 

The original, Rivo and Flume mixes are probably the most popular of the lot, with the Flume version being one of Disclosure's most streamed tracks ever. Bicep, Baauer and Toro y Moi also have mixes available.

is she still releasing music then? cos her breakthru was in like 2010

She's like low-key independently releasing stuff but she's a very different artist to who she was in the early '10s.

I'm absolutely thrilled to see this back in the chart tbh. Adore the original and also several of the remixes, there's just something about that vocal hook. :wub:

Never found this track particularly interesting but yes to the notion of having Eliza back in the charts, one of my fave singers of her ilk at the time.

Down to #80 today, not a climb sadly but glad it's still in there

The Rivo remix of this is pretty bland but happy to see it putting the song back on the chart anyway, I still love the original version. (Although a bit shocked at just how low the streaming total for the original is on Spotify, I was aware that the Flume remix became more popular but not by such a wide margin, and the Rivo remix is also already well ahead...!)

14 weeks this has now had on its return into the chart and still holding strong at (#53). If it hangs on for a further 3 weeks it'll match its initial run of 17 weeks. The track is now also 2x Platinum as of August 2024.

20 weeks now for this on the chart, the Rivo Remix is doing some huge numbers on streaming worldwide. I think it's possibly my favourite remix from the whole year

Really like the Rivo remix stuttering synth buildup especially, it reminds me of the full version of Plummet - Damaged where they used a similar effect.
