June 15, 20241 yr Congrats Rob. Despite being very cheap it was a bop so can't argue with it winning. Pleased Bambi Thug came 2nd and also Aeroche back up there too. Their best in a while for me so glad to see that reflected here. Land Of DW just about making top 10 is fab. Really strong talking track that was. Also nice for La Bouche top 10. Solid retro. Sovarasma, Altyr and Terra were in my commiserations so good to see they made top 10 as well. Good songs just outside too. Singerpurear a catchy cheesy retro pick top 20 as well is astonishing. Just missed my vote (16th) but a great find. Zanmatony almost top 20 is great to see. 18th is good for myself. Still a bit perplexed at how so many indie nations ignored it but alas can't begrudge a top 20 placement nonetheless and was nice to pick up several 18's too. June 15, 20241 yr I voted for 3 of the top 10 and also had 2 of my commiserations in there so not too bad - brilliant to have New Lexico and Jadakissnia both top 5, a shame the latter didn't quite stay in the spot for a potential AQ but still a great result for that kind of song. Oh my at the all BJSC mod top 2! Nice to see Terra Avium top 10 too. As Jade said the 11-20 section is packed with bangers, I voted for 6/10 of them (as well as my own song being there), I guess Backxwash had the vast majority of her votes in the first half so dropped off quite a bit after being in the contention for the win at one point but top 15 is still pretty great for a lengthy hip-hop track with no real hook, such a ~moment~ of an entry, up there with Trifoski's best ever. Also very happy to see Cadelicia in the top 20 as I did worry they might DNQ! Good to see Mothertopia with a new peak again, easily their best entry so far for me. Solid enough results there for Pestolia, Abeltesfayeton and Neliönoir too. Séyetana firmly sitting in underrated corner for me, this track was giving me strong Sleigh Bells vibes. Taahino are a little too low for my liking too and although it was still a way off my votes I did think Eastovka's was quite good for what it was so a bit of a shame that it ended up with a wooden spoon especially with Eastovka apparently taking a break again now (hope you won't be gone for too long </3) Thanks Addy for the hosting, no worries about the delays as the next contest won't be until July anyway - if any contest is to overrun it's the June one that matters the least :magic: beautiful graphics in this contest <3 looking forward to seeing the semi scoreboards and perhaps to jetting off to Hendinia again next month x

June 15, 20241 yr Low top 10 is more what I'd have expected from METTE independently of the hype so I was half right x Oh wow at Cadelicia being top 3 in the semi though! I got final votes from everyone who voted for me in the semi plus three who didn't (Ajanaeda, The Spodic Empire and Tartford), and had a big gain from 4 in the semi to 18 in the final from Cadelicia - yet still finished 1 place lower than my projected position, so looks like semi 2 was a very favourable draw for me.
