BBC smart getting the first two England games!

Wonder if we see some changes or if Southgate keeps the same XI. Reckon he keeps it the same to get the 3 points and then mixes it up a little in the final game providing we get 3 points.

Hoping to see Gareth be bold and give Wharton and/or Palmer a try

Mainoo has been doing a lot of press I don't know if that means he will be starting but perhaps

if I was Gareth, this would be my starting line-up:

Shaw (if fit!)/Konsa/Stones/Trippier

Wharton/Rice

Palmer/Bellingham/Gordon

then give Eze & Watkins a runout in the second half

Usually if someone does the press rounds, they're a lock to start, so I'd certainly think he's starting. Reckon it's the same team as last time with Mainoo for Trent unless someone picked up any knock from Sunday.

Saka has to play imo, can create something from nothing.

As long as he subs Foden if he plays like he did the other night that's fine.

Yeah we could definitely do with Gordon and Palmer getting some minutes.

I don’t know, Southgate is a very deflating guy. All you have to do really is stop Saka and then England will be quite rigid and so much talent will be congested. Let’s hope it works out but I’m not optimistic

Can see the merit in the same XI, gives the team time to build again. Southgate's problem though is he is a reactive rather than a proactive manager, he's always been this way with this England team, we're way too late to make changes (Euro final a classic example). I think it's just his style, but clearly we want to win this game and then ring some changes for the final game.

Poor defending from Denmark for that goal, their defence was asleep during the build up.

Take away the goal which was due to bizarre lapse by the Danish LB and Denmark have been far superior. You got three RB’s on the pitch and Foden drifts central leaving huge space on the left but the English LB is an RB with no pace so he can’t run into the space meaning it’s just vacated for no reason and the other side is congested

Oh and now Denmark score, Gareth has to do better this is terrible
