She was 1,200 away from #40 prior to the remix being released..

Ah she isn't getting a top 40 this week then

i was thinking a store exclusive would get 200-300 max extra sales.

unless they have held back some physical sales which i doubt looks like a top 60 debut maybe.

I am guessing they are just going with the original schedule of release strategy

Lets see what comes out in Australia today and UK at midnight....... Maybe a remix or EP

Did we get a position yesterday?

Hopefully the remix (and my 3 sales!) will at least steady the fall if nothing else.

No, just a figure of how many sales she was from the Top 40.

Hopefully the remix has pulled in a good few sales.

I doubt it, no one seems to like the remix either lol

The daily updates etc really helped us with PP to gain some extra sales when needed.

Oh well another top 75 hit and probably more to come.

Let's see if anything comes out in Australia this afternoon

I'm not sure the original would have sold 1200 downloads never mind the remix and they could have done it for 75p or 59p

Single down to 17 on itunes and onto the next song haha.

Admittedly I haven't heard it yet, but that's not what I've seen. A lot of people seem to be saying it gives the track extra "oomph"

Guessing the other 1,125 sales has come from the cassettes - decent physical figure of 2,349 for the both so far then.

i think they would have wanted more sales from the phyisicals to be honest. Probably would have been better doing 2 CDs with different covers

My Oh My is 54 on Apple Australia, pity UK struggles but both Dance Alone and My Oh My have done well in Australia on Apple.

Do you think having a second CD would generate any more sales than the cassette is managing?

I'd imagine 2 CD formats would be counted as separate formats, and when there's only 3 eligible formats allowed and there's a vinyl to come, I can't see anyone going for the second CD that hasn't bought the cassette (and then you'd miss out on cassette sales from those not interested in collecting a CD - ME!)

Saying that, I don't think it'll go Top 40 based on just a vinyl release. Maybe that could just have been a 4th (inelligible) format later on, with 2 CDs and a cassette this week instead (just like Tension)?

The latter is what i was thinking !

Unless they have 9th August ear marked for an EP, Video, Remixes and Vinyl and have hope that streaming will increase ? Also 2 CDs at £1.99 each with a better picture

From my understanding, "Digital: 1,014 + 256" is actually meant to be added up and be 1,270 downloads overall (not to indicate that it sold 256 downloads the previous day).

The spreadsheet that the guy who shares these mids is pulling from, separates out the downloads into two columns - "Digital Track" and "Digital Bundle". While I know that there's no EP for My Oh My, I don't think the "Digital Bundle" column is only for EPs... but it reflects the way in which you downloaded the song. For instance, on Amazon, you can either click "Buy MP3 song £0.99" or "Buy MP3 album £0.99". I think it's the so-called "album" purchases that are then filtered out into the "Digital Bundle" column, and that would be 256 sales in this way. iTunes also has two separate price buttons to choose from.

Anyway, if I'm right, this would make the cassette sales be 869!

Thanks for sharing, top 60 looks safe enough which is fine, good to see SBIT on track for 1k sales this week aswell.

That £3.99 HMV sale is obviously helping (along with the BST show).

My Oh My is just so disappointing, Dance Alone and Midnight Ride were also poor, I’m just not here for Kylie’s 2024 output (for now) and we’ve still got the likely awful Joel Corry generic banger to come as well.

It’s frustrating as Tension had some great songs, they could’ve pushed with a feature ‘Hands’, ‘Things We Do for Love’ and ‘Vegas High’ all deserved some sort of push.

My #57 prediction edging closer to becoming a reality.

If it does chart in the 50s area it would join this small group of mostly recent singles!

#52 - Stop Me from Falling

#53 - Magic

#56 - Say Something

#59 - I Was Gonna Cancel

As much as I always like Kylie to chart as high as possible, My Oh My really does not compare to the quality of Say Something... so I'll support your #57 prediction. :teresa:
