23 not 12  He is an adult on a TV show not a child.

The viewers want honest housemates and Ali as she is autistic will have a more brutally honest way of communicating but of course she’s in the wrong because the sun shines out go the hottest guy in the house’s arse. For me, they’ve lived with Khalad for a week, we see an hour a day, I think for people to start seeing things there must be something there. Either way I’m glad this season is actually bringing disagreements and drama, it’s not just kumbayah and I think there’s more tensions brewing so this will be a more dramatic season which is BB at its best!! I want discord and fractured divisions!

So Khaled is at fault for 'being hot' and they must be right because theyve lived with him for a week  God help him when he actually defends himself tonight!

It’s fine being upfront and saying things to someone’s face but she based her feelings on nothing other than her opinion.

Unless of course we are missing something that big brother hasn’t shown but that ‘situation’ seemed to come from nothing.

Her issue was Khaled supposedly being fake (agreed this did seem to come out of nowhere as a viewer, but she did have her reasons and explained them, e.g. the way she thought he acted during eviction night and how she felt able to predict his next move) so I thought her being upfront was relevant, as it shows her own honesty rather than being a hypocrite - she's made her life more difficult in there and put a target on her back for eviction rather than keeping the peace. Perhaps she could've picked her battles better, personally Marcello's misogyny is the most uncomfortable aspect of the house for me right now and I fear that will get swept under the carpet for something like this; I don't want to lose someone as interesting as Ali instead of more problematic/one-note housemates. As Liam touched upon, she's neurodivergent which contributes a level of bluntness to her delivery that is probably going to be quite unpalatable so I am slightly concerned for her if she's up.

Khaled seems inoffensive to me so far (initial impressions were actually pretty positive when he was passionately discussing his background and had a likeable friendship with Izaaz) so this is a surprising turn of events, but it is good TV indeed and I'm intrigued to see what will happen next, seems like the live feed was fairly eventful last night

I liked Ali alot last week as I felt empathy with her in the dairy room being an introvert in a house with seemingly has so many extroverts and could see myself in that situation for sure. But as we saw lastnyt that row seemed to come out of nowhere, especially considering some of the things Marcello has said in the house so she has kind of shot herself in the foot with it a bit. I also felt her reasons, although well explained as shes very articulate, were quite poor (in terms of picking up something like a yawn on eviction night). And her level of bluntness when she communicated that, or some would call it condescending, has as you say made it out to be an attack on him. Whether this is caused by her being neurodivergent or not it cant be an excuse for the way she talked to another housemate has made her look bad unfortunately.

Has she really talked to him that badly though? She hit it head on, explained her reasons and even said it doesn't take away from the good things about him. She's not exactly being nasty or whatever.

I find this blind following of Ali on Twitter really weird, just defending her because she’s a ‘queen’.

The amount of hate Khaled is getting from them online just because Ali says to not trust him is weird, sheep mentality.

I really liked Ali at the beginning so I hope they patch things up as it makes me uncomfortable.

Yeah I agree Jack, another odd comment from Nathan. He continues to prove my original thoughts on him.

Yeah, people on social media (particularly Twitter) are so odd in their support for Ali. It’s like Khaled just has to be in the wrong so they have a reason to call someone queen, mother, everything else under the sun. Radio silence when anyone actually asks what Khaled has done wrong too 💀

This  Ali is merely expressing her opinion on another housemate she's living with? And she isn't even being rude about it? Utterly baffled by anybody being offended by that.

Anyway, Rosie has overtaken Lily and is now fave to win!!

Glad I put a bet on her when she was 16/1 :cheer:

I remember last year's show did really well on catch-up so that's good that ITVX is painting a better picture for this series so far as well, times have definitely changed.

Tonight's episode has been extended to 75 minutes long!

Yeah I think we have to remember that, nowadays fewer people watch live. I am tending to watch 2 or 3 episodes at a time when I get a chance as I’m not always around to watch live and they are the viewing habits of a lot of people now.

People are allowed to incessantly have their opinion on her and everyone else, but for forbid she does the same… to his face?

I get not liking her, but I don’t get villifying her for something that everyone on this forum and social media is doing to be honest.

Either way for me, this thing with her and Khalad is classic BB, mountain of a molehill interpersonal drama and reality TV at its best. I’ve missed BB having people talking like this, disagreeing over a disagreement, that’s the whole fun of the show! I do think a bit of that is lost in the on demand era of viewing but then forums like this that’s still there.

I've probably misread it regarding Ali/Khaled, originally I thought it was where did that come from moment. At least Ali is honest.

This 'He's 23' thing is ridiculous, he's a fully grown man for goodness sake.

Sorry all, I weren't trying to stir anything I misread it. I do hope that BB don't portray Ali in a bad light.

the 'at least x is honest' argument never really like it sits well as a justification.

She's obviously no Helen Wood - but that was the main argument going into the final week that her supporters were giving to justify her saying/ doing whatever she liked - regardless of how it would make someone else feel.

Will be interesting to see how things pan out though - especially given Khaled is in a position of power and will no doubt end up pissing people off regardless.

It’s a 10 minute party in a fake house :bratcheeseblock:

Big Brother fight nights have started on less  (smudging a crap painting for one)

God forbid Ali having an opinion about a person she lives with and expressing it to his face.
