The Ali crew would be up in arms if she’d said the same thing to Lily :brat:

I mean I personally genuinely wouldn't be? As long as she was respectful about it (much like she was when she expressed her views to Khaled), then I wouldn't be seeing a problem.

God forbid Ali having an opinion about a person she lives with and expressing it to his face.

Yeah what the hell! Khaled literally gave a long winded, incoherent speech pretending to be sorry for having a 10 minute party

And if my grandma had wheels she'd be a bike!

No but I wouldn't really. I appreciated her honest and direct approach whilst still being gentle and I'd say the same if she said it to anyone, even some of my other faves in Baked Potato or anyone really.

I couldn’t care less who she said it about, it was a fairly inoffensive opinion, said to his face in a direct conversation.

I am fully team Khaled in this disagreement with Ali. She has totally tried to assassinate his character for no other reason but him trying to be nice to people - if more people were like Khaled there would be a lot less animosity around! And yet the online discourse for many is "yess Queen Ali, get that straight boi!!" because she's a sassy female. I'll never understand it over supporting someone who has shown nothing but kindness since entering.

She thought she clocked him and was onto something but he came across a lot more classy and reserved while she seemed bitter and blunt (just as he's crowned Head of House they all seem to turn on him).

And I am absolutely A G O G at Lily calling someone else fake... she knows exactly what she's doing 90% of the time and knows the cameras are on her more than anyone else in the house.

I hope Khaled bites back, he has every right to protect his character.

Moreso if a guy was doing what Ali is doing Khaled there would be uproar.

The amount of people posting online that Queen Ali has got 'Evil' Khaled is insane, evil? seriously?

Edit: they are referring to Khaled as Evil

This Re your first point.

If that was Ryan saying that to Ali…..

I wouldn't say she assassinated his character. She just told him that she felt he was pretending to be nice. From what's been shown of him, I can understand why.

Calling Hanah "aggy" the other night when she was expressing herself was ignorant. He could've just said sorry and listened to her. But instead gave this speech about himself. It felt to me like he cared more about how he was portrayed than Hanah's feelings. Ali said in the diary room that Hanah was hurt by what happened. And we didn't see Ali and Hanah talk after so this whole situation might've even stemmed from that.

People didn’t like Ryan because he made a transphobic comment.

Gay Twitter loves to lift up an opinionated woman, it’s true, but that doesn’t mean the GP does - the gender imbalance of first week boots on this show is shocking.

It’s great that this has got a lot of people talking though. A couple of weeks ago I was worried this series would be a potential dud with Joey Essex in it (!), instead it is off to an interesting start.

Is Khaled the new Rachel Rice? Basically accused of being too nice all the time :D

Ali the new Jen, Lily the new Bex...

Are we really going down the "if a man said that to a woman" road 🥴

Well it is true...

I didn't really agree with what Ali said but I don't think she was wrong in how she went about it. She did at least speak to Khaled, hopefully she can realise he is actually just being nice.

Also yes I don't really see why any comparison to Ryan has been brought up when I think it's plainly clear why he got such hate.

Except a man hasn’t said it to a woman, Ryan hasn’t said it, Ali has said it. We are basing opinions on the context of what we saw not what might have happened in a parallel universe where someone else said, Christ  If my grandma had wheels she’d be a bike!
